Lovely welcome, breakfast was splendid, traditional English with all the trimmings. Quiet location but still close enough to walk into town centre, which is about a 10 minute walk, and good value. Would definately come again.

We stayed last Saturday night. Gerry and Pat are good hosts and the bedroom and dining room are great. At breakfast - linen napkins, Frank Cooper marmalade and a proper butter dish to name just a few stylish touches and splendid plate of food. Huge ensuite bathroom with a decent sized shower cubicle

Gerry and Pat are great hosts, very comfortable, excellent breakfasts in the dining room which has many treasures to feast the eye on. Only a short walk into Blandford's interesting market town. Bonus of car parking at the Lodge.

The house was nice, our room was good with a wonderful shower, which is just what you need after a day cycling. The breakfast was great too. We were made very welcome and our tandem locked away for us overnight. The middle of town for meals was just a short walk away. Can't fault it.

Clean, comfy ensuite room. Friendly couple with a very friendly dog (but not annoying). 5 minutes walk into the high street. 10 minutes walk from Hall and Woodhouse Brewery and visitors centre, home of Badger beer. Yummy breakfast. Nothing to much trouble.
