Fantastic pub with excellent food and customer service. This wasn't your average country pub and was recommended by some friends. This was a lovely location and had an excellent selection of locally produced food.....and gins!!

Very attractive pub set in a pretty village in beautiful countryside. Had reserved a table in the conservatory but decided to sit outside – however too cold so came back to the bar, although our reserved table had gone we were seated in another part of the pub without any fuss. Good main menu – we were only there for...

A rather quirky hotel set in the middle of a quintessential English village. (Think 1960s Land Rovers as the vehicle of choice). There is still the remnants of the local stocks near the bar door. It is unusual these days to see a pub which seems to be thriving with the custom of the locals. Beers from the local Sixpenny...

Excellent base from which to explore some of Dorset. The Museum Inn is set in a charming little hamlet. The inn itself is lovely. We had a room in 'the stables'. Although quite compact, it is furnished on trend with a ver comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities that would put some 4 star establishments to shame and excellent...

We stayed in the "Generals Room" which is the main building. Lovely large room with four poster bed and a small balcony with a table & chairs. Nice terrace to the rear of the building where you get the last of the afternoon sun. There is also a cottage to the rear of the Inn which can be hired entirely,...

Always enjoy our short breaks at the Museum. Can recommend the luxury rooms which are a good size and well furnished. We dined in the restaurant three evenings. Restaurant excellent but would like to have seen more fresh fish on the menu. Was very surprised that a dog was allowed to join its owners at the table next to us...

It was ok... nothing to really write home about. Sunday lunch was a little bit disappointing as the roasties ( what Sunday lunch is all about!) were pretty poor. did mention it but they weren't interested in our ' observation' despite plenty of other tables leaving their spuds too.

Located amongst an amazing village comprising of almost entirely thatched properties this place is just Idylic with a small country church and the potential for great walks in the countryside. Property opposite was in process of being re-thatched which was interesting to watch as well. We stayed in "The Chase" which is a huge double bedded (queen/king) room with a...
