This hotel stands out a mile from the choice Harwich has to offer. Stayed over Easter and it's fab value for money. It's a bit of glam and luxury in an OK town. Big rooms, a nice bar, and god location in Dovercourt. Nowhere else to stay as good as this in Harwich.

I have stayed here several times and whilst the rooms are cleaned, the detail and finnesse of cleaning is lacking, black mould is visible on ceilings, walls and tiles, especially in the corners, etc. It would be really nice to see this corrected and kept at a level equal to...

I have stayed at this hotel regularly, over the last year. The hotel is comfortable, although some of the rooms are on the small side. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good. The building is quite a sight, built as a private residence, it has high ceilings and many Victorian features.

Attended a family Funeral Wake at this hotel yesterday. The Hotel is lovely. The food for the price paid was disgusting. It seemed as though it came from a local frozen food shop. Considering the amount paid per person there definitely was not enough and very bland. No sandwiches, wraps with very little in them, not enough for everyone although...
