Attended a family Funeral Wake at this hotel yesterday. The Hotel is lovely. The food for the price paid was disgusting. It seemed as though it came from a local frozen food shop. Considering the amount paid per person there definitely was not enough and very bland. No sandwiches, wraps with very little in them, not enough for everyone although...

My husband and I stayed here to attend a funeral wake. Our room was the Fryatt room. It was lovely, very clean and comfortable room. We had English breakfasts both mornings, it was lovely, fresh and very good portions. The staff were very attentive and friendly at all times. We enjoyed a buffet lunch at the Wake. It was very...

What a lovely place this is, I cannot fault The Tower! From the warm welcome by very pleasant staff to the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, this place is a gem! Once again we opted for a simple lunch, I had one of the best Ploughman's ever and hubby had a BLT baguette with a portion of their excellent double-cooked chips!...

For a short stay to go to or coming from the ferry the hotel is a 5 minutes car drive to the pier. But the atmosphere and the decor of the hotel are rather dated. beds were small and mine was unstable. Small bathroom with few space to lay bath stuff. Parking is large on the terrain of the hotel....

We had our girls xmas meal here on Saturday night and it was lovely. Fast and friendly service. The food was amazing. Turkey Christmas dinner followed by chocolate mint cheesecake, prefect. The atmosphere was great, warm and relaxed as always.
