The owner, Jim, welcomed us warmly and showed us to our gigantic bedroom. The place is located at the end of town, within a few minute walking distance to most restaurants and the supermarket. The bar next door was noisy in the evening. Nonetheless, we slept well and Jim cooked us breakfast to order. The price was quite reasonable too....

A warm welcome awaits visitors at this oasis in Dursley. Dursley itself looks a little tired and rundown, but Underhill House has a beautiful front garden to welcome you and pretty rooms of good proportions for you to relax in. We stayed in a double room with an en-suite which had a large shower. The room was large enough to...

We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst attending a wedding at Kingscote. We received a warm welcome from the friendly host Gill, the breakfasts were great quality & cooked to order. It's next door to a real ale pub, (no food on Tu evenings) and around the corner is a very good Italian restaurant. The car park opposite...

Having made do with rather average pub and inn accommodation on previous nights, we were amazed at the comfort, spaciousness and sheer luxury of Underhiil House. Clearly, an expert builder had carried out the fine renovations and modernisation. Breakfasts seldom come better than the one offered here.

Stay here and you will have the best visit ever - you can pop next door to the pub and simply fall back here afterwards. 40 minutes on the...

We arrived very late on Friday evening for a friend's wedding the next day after our original booking at a B&B in another village was cancelled when we were just 15 mins away. We were lucky that Jillian had had a cancellation so had one room free and even at that late hour (around 9.30pm) cleaned the room for us...

We had had a long, damp day on the Cotswold Way, and were late in arriving on a Sunday night, but Jillian welcomed us graciously, nonetheless. Our room was unusually large (it had once been the upstairs parlor), and the bathroom modern and commodious; my one complaint related to the rather severely hard mattress....but others may like that. Jillian's warmth...

Three work colleagues stayed here for a wedding locally. The Rooms were all large and had beds to fit 4 people! The shower room was modern and well appointed. There is a large car park right opposite and the breakfast is excellent and cooked to order. The hosts are great and I would definitely recommend it! There is also a...
