We stayed here for New Year's Eve in the Chestnut room. Staff were very friendly on arrival. On first impression the room was very nice, but we very quickly discovered that there was no door to the bathroom and therefore the toilet also! Which is just plain weird... The toilet even faced the sofa when sat on it! Not great...

We hadn't reserved but we got a nice comfy sofa in the tapas bar. Great tapas menu mixing local and traditional ingredients to make delicious and rather different tapas dishes. We also had some rather delicious cocktails. Lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff

Romatic Birthday weekend treat. Wild Garlic is really a restauarnt with three rooms in an Annexe around the rear. Very secure and quiet so not troubled by restaurant noise at all. Beautifllu and tastefully decorated, everything you could possibly need. We SHOULD have eaten in the restauarnt rather than elsewhere and will do so NEXT TIME.

Perfect getaway from the city! Spent a night there (dinner + sleep). Staff was very nice and helpful. The menu was original and very tasty (try the salmon as they are curing it themselves). Wine and next-morning breakfast were really good too. We stayed in the Shortwood Room.Big and nicely decorated (nicely refurbished bathroom too). The location is perfect too....

Tucked away at the end of Old Market St. you will find Cossack square where this restaurant is located, Plenty of FREE around. Anyway service and food is 1st class. I opted for the Beef celebration. And I can honestly say it was one of the best Fillet steaks I have ever eaten. Just one word of advice the menu...

This is an incredibly convivial and fantastic find.... Tapas was both imaginative and delicious with an extensive and reasonably priced wine list and a very well made cocktail to kick start a Friday evening... The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the food and drink! not sure you could ask for more. So have been busily "Sharing" this...

Rooms are very nice and Nailsworth is lovely. My only complaint is that the restaurant isn't open on a Monday or Tuesday night and this means you can't get an evening meal or cooked breakfast. Apparently this should have been made clear when I booked, but there's no mention of this on Hotels.com.

We found Wild Garlic by chance and were happy we did. The room was comfortable, airy, and decorated nicely. Breakfast was generous where nothing seemed too much trouble. We liked the homemade granola, bread, and 'foraged' ingredients. We will come back. Booking is easy and efficient.
