Met friends for dinner at The White Hart. Service was fine but food very disappointing. It’s never a good sign when the starter arrives within a few minutes of ordering and it went downhill from there. The burger mains were really poor quality burgers - we actually have better ones from our local Morrisons! My wife had creme brûlée for dessert and it was served straight from the fridge - no nice warm crispy topping as it should really be served - and served with a hefty brick like shortbread. Expensive for the quality. It’s the premier hotel in Boston and should surely be capable of better.

This is the best pub in the centre of Boston; the only one we go to as locals. It’s classy, contemporary and metropolitan. I organised a visit with a large group of friends last week and were seated in The Glass Room - a clever space that adds a touch of glamour while offering privacy while enjoying the relaxed pub atmosphere. Food was delicious, drinks were good & service was top notch. It’s always a bit stressful organising a meal in case it goes wrong but everything was great. We’ll definitely go back.

Visited The White Hart a few times over the 2021 Festive Period, for dining only. Christmas Eve: A wonderful evening with attentive and friendly staff. We enjoyed Pork Terrine followed by Sausage and Mash. So good. Christmas Day Lunch We enjoyed Bubble and Squeak cake with a blue cheese sauce and poached egg and a Partridge Breat with seasonal salad. This was followed by a Cranberry Sorbet and then traditional Roast Turkey. We ended with a Panacotta and a Huge cheeseboard. All again sumptuous and tasty. Surprised that after lunch coffee was an extra charge (was included on same visit in 2019) Boxing Day Breakfast Very relaxed, but similar great service. We both had the full English Breakfast which was brilliant. Thank you to the White Hart staff who worked Christmas hours.
