A party of five if us stayed in Oak Cottage this month. We could not have wished for better. The cottage was very warm, spotlessly clean and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped but I think an extra touch would be to provide salt and pepper. A tip would be: turn all the radiators off as soon as you arrive as...

We sadly didn't see these cottages on line prior to booking somewhere else. Great news being that our other accommodation was awful and so we hit the Internet again and found here. Nicky and her family were so welcoming and accommodating. We rang them late Saturday night in hope that they would have something we could have for the rest...

A very nice clean property with everything needed for a good rental property. Unfortunately the owners were on holiday but Nicky's father and her son Ben were very friendly and welcoming. Due to health issues we would have liked advice on walking routes (which was advertised as being available). Technical problems were encountered with the wifi at the beginning of...

The cottage was lovely, very well laid out. All 3 bedrooms were on suite. Our main reason for choosing this cottage was the downstairs bedroom with disabled access and facilities, which were perfect. The beds were all extra comfortable and the kitchen was excellently equiped. Nicky was very welcoming and told us about the local area, places to go, where...

I booked a late stay in Acorn Cottage as a "working break". Internet was key. The cottage sleeps two (with room for a well-behaved dog) and is simply lovely. Bright, comfortable and equipped to a high standard. It is surrounded by woodland for lovely walks and is far enough away to be peaceful and near enough lots of beaches etc.....

We stayed at willow cottage - 4 adults and 1 teenager and a dog. The welcome we received by nicky was perfect, very knowledge about the area and where to eat locally. Very kind to my teenage son and introduced her son (who was on leave with the army) to him - the cottage was fitted out well and the...

We have just returned from a much needed break, staying in Catkin cottage. The accommodation was very well designed with everything we needed and warm even though it was a less than balmy week. Nicky made us extremely welcome and was knowledgeable about the history of the area and gardens to visit. We were invited round for drinks on our...

The cottage, Oak barn was very well equipped with everything you need and a beautiful garden area, which we unfortunately couldn't use after 2 days of being their. As myself and my husband are smokers we loved sitting out with our coffee and cigarette enjoying the sun but sadly due to misserable neighbour's who were obviously anti smoking Nicky asked...

I have just returned from a lovely long weekend staying in 'Acorn Cottage', one of only a few converted outbuilding holiday cottages. The cottage was very well appointed and extremely comfortable. The location, setting and views are simply superb and the walk into Staithes itself is a delight. I wholeheartedly recommend this for a few days peace away from the...

We stayed in Willow Barn as a family group (four adults, two children, two dogs) and had a great time. We got a good welcome from Nicky which included a delicious home made lemon drizzle cake and some jam, and also some recommendations for pubs, beaches and tea shops. Just right - told us what we needed to know without...
