Booked via Travelzoo, which was a great deal. Given the Honey suite, which was a lovely room but needed to use added heater as room was cold initially. Very clean, and comfortable. The bar Staff were friendly and pub food tasty.

My husband and I checked in yesterday after booking through Travel zoo. Our room Olive was just beautiful and comfortable with a role top bath. The food was just divine. We tried the meat platter for sharing and wow what a good selection, our mains were excellent too, I had the Lamb shank (heavenly) and my husband had the braised...

We met up with friends half way from each of our homes. Nettlebed seemed a good place to stop. We met on a Monday so not many lunchtime diners and it was February. Staff were very polite and good. Food was really good. Some of the items were South African. I had a bobotie which I had not had for...

We had a great night at this pubby type hotel. The room was spacious and full of character with a bath in the actual room as well as a shower room. Large king size bed too. Dinner was excellent. There seemed to be a South African theme running through the hotel but I'm not sure what the significance of this...

Went to meet friends for a drink and something to eat. We were told that the chef could not cater for us as they had a party in, and we were not staying, and the chef could not cope!! Couldn't believe that they were prepared to turn business away. Very disappointed at the attitude of the bar staff. I feel...

Wonderful of building in superb decorative order. Great food including some interesting South African dishes thanks to the South African owner. Excellent accommodation. Few short steps to the community centre for the Monday night folk club.

Great location as close to Henley on Thames. THe hotel was lovely and do not hesitate to book. The rooms were one of the nicest and largest we have stayed in and the food was excellent. Service from the staff was first class-a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Just spent an excellent night at the White Hart. Food was superb, you must try the south African specialities. Room was spacious and comfortable but best of all the staff were informal but very attentive.

Very comfortable, clean room with en suite shower. Staff very friendly, food good! It's a pub, restaurant with rooms. The carpet in the dining room needs replacing as dark, old and held together with carpet tape so doesn't warrant 5 stars.
