Pre-booked this Hotel as part of our NC500 trip. For me, the best accommodation of the trip. Beautiful, historic hotel in the most peaceful location. Lovely bar, library and lounge for guests to use. Room 12 is on the top floor and faces the garden at the side of the property. Slept with the window wide open all night as...

This place is top notch in all respects. There are lots of lovely public rooms downstairs, although our own room (superior room with sea view) was so large and comfortable that we enjoyed relaxing there also. The manager was very warm and welcoming and kept reminding us that we should feel the house was our home. Breakfast and dinner (we...

We have just spent 2 nights here and would love to return. The views over the loch are beautiful, we watched 5 seals one morning over breakfast. Our room (no 3) had a lovely view and was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious (although it was a pity the window didn't open). The manager was great, very entertaining & he...

Ticked all the boxes. Very friendly staff who made you feel at home. Excellent centre for touring. A relaxed peaceful experience in a beautiful setting. The whole experience epitomised Scottish hospitality at its best. The food was very good well presented and made for a wonderful holiday. Will made a return visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights and used the lodge as a base to tour some of the west coast of Scotland. The hotel is a refurbished hunting lodge and has 9 rooms or so and thus has an intimate feel. The staff definitely remembers each guest. The first floor has a large bar, a library, a sitting room with...

Just taking slight issue with the comments by Lorna Y about room 5, where I am currently sitting writing this. It is a spacious room with a choice of 3 comfortable chairs to sit in and the bathroom doesn't have a window but does have an effective and efficient extractor fan. Before the sun set our view over the loch...

We chose the hotel for a one night stay on our road trip after seeing good reviews. On arrival the Hotel looked as described, lovely public areas including well furnished lounges and a great bar area with lots of quirky 'hunting lodge' ephemera and a huge selection of whiskeys. We were given a brief intro to the facilities by a...

Located at the end of the sea loch, with ever changing views, light and tides, it was a wonderful place to spend a couple of nights. Staff were very obliging, welcoming and informative. It made sense to use the restaurant both nights we were there and the dinners were excellent...also breakfasts. The place was decorated to give it a great...

Beautiful setting of this hotel really made for an enjoyable stay. Very out of the way, remote location, wonderful view over the boats on the loch. Good walk up to fairy lochs to see the memorial to a fallen ww2 plane and some of the wreckage still there. Friendly staff happy to chat about the wide variety of whisky they...

I stay in this beautiful scots lodge only for one night. Spotless from head to toe. very scots - i just loved it. I enjoyed a very very nice dinner. The sticky toffee pudding was out of this world. Outstanding fish quality. Nice friendly staff and manager, who makes you feel like coming home. The different rooms with the huge...
