We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. Dinner was lovely, or room overlooked the water and we watched the sun go down. The only negative point was the bath water that came out brown due to the peat I was advised. Living in Scotland I can understand this but if was rather off-putting all the same. Couldn't quite bring...

This is recently refurbished shooting lodge. We had a really enjoyable stay, and given the location and views, represented pretty good value for money. We really liked the public rooms which provide a great view of the loch and the feeding birds including a group of herons. We also thoroughly enjoyed the snooker room with a 2/3rds size table which...

We only spent one night at the Shieldaig Lodge but wish it had been longer. The location is in the most beautiful areas of Scotland and the hotel has been tastefully restored. When we arrived it was wall to wall sunshine and over 22C. The reception was very friendly and this continued the whole time we were there. It was...

We arrived at Shieldaig Lodge after a long journey. The location is perfect. The staff at Shieldaig were warm and welcoming, the surroundings exquisite and the hotel - bedrooms and public areas - beautifully appointed. We had dinner overlooking the bay - excellent food cooked by the French chef. Everything was elegant and tasteful, and the staff were attentive and...

This was our second and by far the best hotel we stayed in during our week long NC500 adventure. What a find. The room we had was stunning, overlooked the water, had a particularly comfy bed and high quality bedding. Staff were very hard working and couldnt do enough for us. The food served at dinner and breakfast was excellent....

We stayed here for 2 nights, what a find. The room was amazing, the staff very friendly and the food was great. We ate at the hotel both nights and we were not disappointed. They also have an incredible selection of whiskey's and Gins. The grounds of the hotel are stunning.

What a lovely location overlooking Shieldaig loch. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, but the food was the unexpected surprise. Excellent quality, local produce at a very reasonable price.

This renovated hunting lodge on the banks of a loch was a great find! Large comfortable room, great food and attentive staff. Very relaxing place to visit! Only 2 minor issues, the bathroom was incredibly small, and the TV reception was out due to the wind. Even with these minor issues we would visit again!

This old hunting lodge has been a hotel since 1910 and retains all the atmosphere of it's history. The views from the front of the building across the loch are magnificent, almost hypnotic, and can be seen from the two very comfortable lounges and the restaurant. The welcome is warm, and personal, the food is good, the fireside chairs ideal...

The warmest possible Scottish welcome, Beautiful hotel, small and quiet. Wonderful views across the loch from lounges, dining room and our bedroom. Bedroom was spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. Bed was huge an so comfortable - could have slept for a week. Curtains were so thick and luxurious. Loved the little touches for do not disturb/room ready for cleaning. Bar...
