Brilliant service by Michael on the bar all week and Thomas was great and friendly. Food was brilliant even though we did have a problem but the waiter was new so find that very acceptable as it was put right straight away everyone makes mistakes get over it. We've been there every night locals and staff are so welcoming and...

We camped last week next door, and went to the pub twice for a meal, the first night they were jam packed and told us it would be a wait for food, but after a long drive up from the Borders neither myself nor my partner could be bothered to cook. After taking our order a little while later they...

Food was very good here, we popped in on the off chance of a table for dinner on our last night camping at the site next door. Our initial waiter was terrible, but after a few mistakes, he wasn't seen again and the service picked up with a young team doing a great job. Food was well priced, and very...

This hotel was terrible, rooms antiquated, beds awful, not clean if we could have got other accommodation that night we would have left - didn't even stay for breakfast or stay for 2nd night. We were doing North 500 route - definitely give this a miss. We paid the same amount for 5 star B & B at Lochinver -...

Our small party decided to have our lunch in the Fishbox bar. Though it could maybe do with a lick of paint, it is clean enough and the barman was friendly. Prices are excellent and half the price of the place just along the road. Two of us had the cajun chicken and it was delicious. One member of our...

Food has always been excellent but recent changes to menu and addition of a very welcoming Bistro make this place unbeatable. Fresh, perfectly cooked local produce served by very friendly and professional staff in attractive surroundings with breath taking views. Make sure you are hungry too as the portions are huge. All round top notch!

Menu looked great on the door but it turned out to be the dinner menu not lunch; no vegetarian options so they had to leave and eat elsewhere. Rest of us stayed and had lunch, opting for the fish - it was the worst ever, will not return. We were seated in the 'lounge' as the restaurant part wasn't open...
