We went for 2 night DBB, price was very reasonable for 2 people including breakfast and a high quality 3 course meal. This was our first trip with our 4 week old baby along with our black lab and the hotel could not have been more ideal. Friendly and helpful staff, dream setting and an ideal room to keep the...

Myself and partner stayed 3 nights here , the hotel is fine it's in a beautiful location and very easily accessible, the staff are welcoming and the room was clean and tidy , the rooms are being updated slowly which is good , ours was a little dated but certainly didn't affect our enjoyment of the area or affect our...

Stayed here for an overnight deal including dinner and breakfast with family. Room clean and a great size with lovely view of Loch. Travel cot provided as requested. The pool area was nice and warm with family changing facilities. Very impressed with the dinner options - 3 courses for both adults and children and all food was excellent; wide range...

Firstly i would just like to say what a lovely place the hotel is based, lovely scenery and room overlooking the loch - a bit dissapointed that we booked a family room but were given a double room with a camp bed for our daughter - shes 11 years old and to be fair realy needed a proper bed but...

Contrary to some of the bad reviews, I thought I would give this place a try. The staff were lovely, the pool was superb and overall I had a very nice time. You must take 20p for the lockers and it is family orientated, so no single sex showering.

We're currently staying here with our dog, and we already know we'll be back. Our room has a second door that opens out onto the grass, opposite the playground, which is perfect for late evenings walkies, etc. It also gives our room more of a chalet feel, without having to go through reception every time pup needs a pee, (although...

The family have been coming here for years, and we all meet up for dinner. Really enjoyed our night away, kids love the swimming pool, and the hotel is so family friendly. Food again was up to its usual high standard, and the staff are all a credit to the hotel. Minor point, again is the rooms. They could definitely...

Stayed here for one night in 2016, and liked it so much as our night-stop to the Outer Hebrides, that we booked for three nights in April 2017. The family rooms are absolutely superb if you have young kids, with bunk beds in their own private alcove meaning you get some peace and quiet after the kids go to bed...

Impressive location. Reception upon arrival was less than welcoming. Room was bright but not particularly clean with mould on windows and cigarette burns on carpet. Chairs had been repaired using plywood in lieu of webbing - not comfortable. Plaster and wallpaper in bathroom cracked with mould on walls. Staff were excellent - special mention to Roman. Great base for touring...

Thanks for your review rslgmjb. I'm sorry that you were disappointed with your room. We are hoping to start work on upgrading some rooms very soon. I am pleased however that you were happy with the staff and I will pass on your comments to Roman.

Booked in very quickly, room was ok very basic ,had just been painted as you could smell it, bathroom a bit dated, needs a wee bit tlc. Super view from our room. Bed large and comfy. Would stay here again. Hopefully weather will be better.

Hi msL2201NJ and thank you for your review. There are plans to update the rooms in the near future so hopefully if you do stay again you will see an improvement but I'm afraid we can't guarantee the weather!
