Really enjoyed my stay here! Breakfasts and dinners were well catered for. A particular shout out to Gary, who looked after us in the evenings — great service, thank you, Gary! Overall, a great getaway from city life! NB This is a family resort, so don’t be surprised to have children running around. Oh, and dog-friendly too!
Discovered due to matters out of our control we could stay for only 1 of the 2 nights booked Requested change of dates and we were flexible with dates suggested but no change was considered despite the hotel having availability on dates chosen So we stayed on our original dates but only for 1 night Also part of our deal offered £50 food voucher for 2nd evening - when we were not going to be there The manager says she could not change this voucher to the first night We chose to dine elsewhere for our evening meal!
This was my second trip at this fun and friendly hotel. The staff are outstanding and could not be more welcoming. The views of the Loch and surrounding mountains are outstanding. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfasts!
Spent Christmas at this fabulous Hotel. Everything about our stay was perfect, firstly the setting. You have so many beautiful walks around the hotel. The food was splendid and nothing was too much trouble for a fussy 7 year old so thank you for that. The hotel caters well for gluten free and we found the bar nice and relaxing with the fire on! We went off to Glencoe to go sledging on boxing day which was excellent fun and Gary who is smashing, helped us with places to see around Fort William/local area. The hotel has an electric charge point and there's a supermarket a few minutes walk away. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna are lovely and warm after our walks and adventures. We will definitely come back. We booked a family feature room over looking the Loch. We found the hotel had such a classy vibe, lovely setting but most of all excellent service from all the staff. …
What an absolutely stunning stay! Picture perfect scenery out of every window. Super, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely room, with stunning view of the Loch. All staff very friendly, especially Mr Gary Mccluskey who shared knowledge about our onward journey & assisted with our local gin purchase, but mainly provided extra hot gravy for our Christmas lunch... Bravo!
