Our room at the front of the Lodge overlooked the water. The room was spacious as was the ensuite. We would have loved to stay another night and enjoyed their bar on the first floor, seemed very atmospheric!

I booked this B&B as a last minute break in Fort William. The check-in time is 4pm (which I phoned to confirm as some websites say you can check in earlier), and you are slightly south of Fort William but there are still plenty of places to go for a meal. We were greated by Catherine on our arrival and...

We had trouble locating this place and even a local id not know the lodge. Maybe better directions when booking, may assist. The Creag Mhor Lodge Bed and Breakfast was advertised as a family run Victorian lochside lodge. It was built in 1890 as a private residence for the wife of the Episcopalian Bishop of Argyll and the Isles. The...

We were the other couple in the review below and will not be so generous. No welcome before 4 but The Loch Leven Hotel more than made up for it. Rooms are best described as sparse, large and soulless, pathetically weak shower. Lovely whisky bar, served by a nice lad but breakfast between 8-9 on a Sunday is ridiculous. The...

We came with another couple to Creag Mhor for a special treat to visit the nearby Seafood Cafe (which is excellent) for dinner. Cream Mhor is an attractive Victorian building in a beautiful location. We arrived before 4pm and there a signs at the door making it very clear that guests are not welcome to arrive before then. We therefore...

Check in is 4pm so if you arrive early you will find the door locked. Host was very welcoming and tried to book a taxi for us trying 7 different companies. They are missing a trick not to serve evening food - advisable to book somewhere for dinner. Bar is amazing - has 200 different whiskies and the communal Lounge...

Beautiful location overlooking the Loch. Family room required additional features to accommodate two sets of adults. Tv & tea making facilities in both Rooms, plus a lock on the bathroom door would have been most beneficial. Other residents lacked a friendly nature, with no acknowledgement of others, like sitting in a grave yard in the residents lounge. However, the staff...

Great B&B, set in an impressive house over looking Lochleven. Check is strictly not before 4pm, in fact the door is locked! Although when open you get a very warm welcome. Our room was a fantastic size overlooking the loch so worth checking when booking. Decor is a outlet tired but not poor. Shower is a tad low in pressure...

We spent the night here on our way to Glasgow. Lovely, interesting decor. They have a whisky bar downstairs (and I do mean heavy on the whisky)!!! Our room was nice and comfortable. The only problem we had was the Internet could not be accessed in our room (#9), so we would have to go downstairs in order to use...

We spent one night here on our way to Isle of Skye. The lodge is well located just south of Fort William and is situated on a hill above a picturesque loch. We were assigned to room 5 which appears to have been recently renovated and features a huge bathroom. Thomas was particularly helpful during our stay, from check in...
