Always a bit suspicious of the overly glowing reviews but Basil & Sue deserve every single plaudit going. The accommodation is spotless, the welcome is genuine and the Breakfast was fantastic. I'm a great believer in the old saying "if you're going to do it, why not do it right first time" - Muirfad certainly lives up to this maxim....

Sue and Baz made us very welcome and relaxed. The accommodation was decorated and furnished to a high standard with comfortable beds. There is an airy garden room in which to relax, overlooking the well kept garden. Spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast with a good menu.

This B and B is in a good location for exploring this area and lots of information was provided. We were made very welcome by Sue and Basil, the room was comfortable and the breakfasts excellent and one of us with dietary problems was very well catered for. Since the weather was colder than expected the woodburning stove at breakfast...

The room was superbly furnished and the breakfasts (freshly prepared by Basil and Sue) were incredible. Basil and Sue were also excellent hosts - they were friendly and always ready to provide information regarding locations of interest. They provide the most professional service of all the B&Bs I've stayed in to date. Basil even went out of his way to...

Lovely old farmhouse, clean as a new pin, comfy room, delicious breakfast with home cured bacon and sausages, plenty of menu choice and delicious fresh fruit cocktail. The owners, Basil and Sue, are very welcoming and friendly, and pointed us in the direction of a delicious meal on our first night there. Extremely hospitable. The garden is beautiful, with plenty...

Excellent accommodation in beautiful location. Made to feel very welcome with tea and shortbread on arrival, served out in the lovely garden. Bedroom and shower room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Views from the bedroom window were superb - over the river Cree estuary. Great night's sleep followed by a cracking breakfast - home cured bacon and sausages made by...

We only stayed one night bed and breakfast. We were made very welcome by the lady of the house with tea and shortbread. A nice touch. Our twin room was clean but oddly shaped furniture layout. Great shower, nice towels and toiletries. I did not sleep well because as soon as it began to get light it just came straight...
