My choice of this site was largely based on the fact that it was the only one (of four that I tried in that area) to respond to phone calls or emails. It sounded OK but, while it might be fine as a static site, it is currently completely unsuitable for tourers or tents because the toilet block is a...

Have stayed at this site on a couple of occasions when we had a tourer it was adequate then and that was 5yr ago. However because friends and family wanted to go we hired a static caravan BEWARE they charge £45 pw per dog. By the time I realized this we had already paid our deposit. When I queried the...

Poor facilities. The shower room is appalling and they actually have the cheek to charge you a quid to use them. The grass is far too long and your feet are constantly wet. The lighting is almost non existent so take a torch. This place just seems a bit unloved and in need of some investment. It's not cheap either!!!

This campsite is seriously dated and certainly needs improvement. Twice we have stayed here purely because there isnt another campsite as close to the town centre....if there was i wouldnt stay here again....and as for the attitude of the staff....10/10 for rudeness....the feeling your doing them an injustice staying here.....the office is a bombsite...and never anyone available....a bit of money...

We were surprised at how peaceful it was, considering the size of the site with lots of statics, tourers and holiday homes. We were made very welcome by John and although our static was a bit dated, we had a very enjoyable three days at Creebridge. Some folding outdoor furniture would have been ideal, as one of the days was...

We came late in the afternoon and could set up our tent for a good price. Payment by card didn't work, so we were asked to withdraw cash in town the next day. There was barely anyone around, so we used every space we could. The facilities were clean and good.

Came on a hill walking break and was a super base for Galloway hills. 5 minute walk to centre of Newton Stewart. The shower block facilities were spotless and had plug point to charge phone and dry hair! Big bonus! Couple that own site were very helpful. We will be visiting again!

We have stayed at this Caravan Park a few times as regular mountain bikers at Galloway Forest. It has always been a bit on the "tired" side, but relatively comfortable and close to Newton Stewart for walking into town. We were booked in this weekend and were asked to arrive before 7pm in the evening to be allocated our motorhome...

I have been visiting this caravan park for the last four years, and every year I have loved it. We rent a static caravan, and it is in great condition, clean, and quite spacious for what it is. The owners of the park are friendly and helpful. The park is an easy 5 minute walk from the town Newton Stewart,...

We stumbled upon this place on our way down to visit Wigtown and Glentrool in July 2010 (I had to pick Dec 2010, it's as far back as tripadvisor goes). The park is pretty close to the small main street of Newton Stewart, where there are a couple of shops and restaurants and we found it really convenient to be...
