I stayed in this B and B for 5 nights and used it as a base for a walking holiday. The house is very unusual and the website gives a very accurate description of the building. The bedrooms are of a high standard but the outstanding feature is the lounge which overlooks Loch Broom through a huge window. The host...

My wife and I just loved this B&B! Beautiful views, large yet cozy room, wonderful breakfast, great host. There's a large comfortable sitting room with a grand piano no-less. Plenty of books, maps, and a helpful host as well. The views of the loch from our room were gorgeous - any time of day or night. We stayed several nights...

Excellent bed and beakfast location. The house is located on the shore of Loch Broom near to Ullapool. You can walk into the town or a taxi is reasonable. We stayed in the Green Room which had great views of the loch and Ullapool and a private balcony with chairs. The room was large, well equipped and furnished and had...

This was the best b&b we have stayed at. We would have paid just for the view. Clean comfy and good food. No need for television the view calmed the mind.only wished we had been able to stay longer.our host was brilliant.

Tanglewood is truly an amazing property and it is quite a privilege to be able to stay in such an interesting house. The house aside this is a lovely place to stay, helpful hosts and a great breakfast. This has to be the very best place to stay in Ullapool.

Don't be fooled by the Trip Advisor ranking of this B&B, it is the best place we have ever stayed in 20 years. There are 3 rooms available - admittedly we had the best one which has its own balcony and beautiful views across the loch, but it was a wonderful experience as we also had access to the guests'...

Gorgeous house with the most spectacular location. We rented the green room which has its own balcony overlooking Loch Broom - wow!!! Our hosts were attentive and charming. Fresh tea to greet us and a wonderful fresh and tasteful breakfast overlooking the Loch and Ullapool. Wonderfully clean, beautifully stocked bedroom, king size bed with beautiful linen. Can't rave enough. A...

The house has incredible views over the water, is lovely and comfortable and the seclusion really makes it easy to switch off. Robert & Jillian are friendly, very helpful and run the place very competently. They cook and serve very good breakfasts in their beautiful dining / living room, suggest local gems to visit / eat at and the most...

We were a party of four - all adults - touring this beautiful part of Scotland. We stayed one night at Tanglewood but wished we could have stayed much longer. The house is stunning! The rooms are luxurious and the beds are super-comfortable. The views from the lounge are breathtaking as virtually all of Loch Broom is before one's eyes...
