We had 3 night stay here with friends in September. Rooms are good, clean and equipped as would be expected. Beware the the tap water is brown- although safe for washing, drinking. There is a small dining room with good home cooked food and a pleasant lounge/ bar area to sit and relax. The hotel is in a great location...

Four of us planned to "do" Mull as a long weekend break last weekend & stayed at this private hotel. A great find! Don't be put off by the location. It is actually ideal. The hotel is lovely, very comfortable, spotless & in a beautiful location. The food is very good. All fresh local produce cooked & served well. Well...

We stayed in Pine Cottage, which was spotlessly clean and had a very comfy bed. My only tiny quibble would be that there are no high chairs or travel cots available; we were with our toddler (who loved beach combing) so brought a collapsible chair with us and made a 'nest' for him on one of the twin beds. The...

This hotel is a little gem and a lucky find. It is a small hotel with a big heart. We stayed there for three nights last week and found this a super base to explore the island from. This hotel is about 15 miles from the Iona ferry port, and has a lovely location overlooking Loch Scridain. The staff were...

We stayed in the lovely, self catering Pine Cottage. It was beautifully clean and fully equipped. We were made very welcome by the owners Tony, Joy and Paul and their staff. The location is magnificent, overlooking Loch Sridain and Ben More. Great for wildlife and bird watching. This is a very peaceful and relaxing venue, with the added benefit of...

Attractive cottage look. Nice gardens with plenty of bird feeders. Overlooking Loch Scridain with it's charming otter family. White-Tailed Sea Eagles can be glimpsed overhead. Very quiet location. Spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast good and plentiful, could be enhanced with the addition of fresh fruit. The delightful restaurant would benefit from a less formal approach, and a more varied dinner menu.

We were stuck on the island a few weeks ago due to a coach accident. The drivers went to the hotel to see if they could get any kind of food ie crisps because some of people were dietbetics. They were told sorry we only have enough for our own people.even tho they explained why and were willing to pay...

Dear Steven Thank you for taken the time to write a review of our Hotel. We felt that it needed some clarification. We are a small family run 6 bedroom hotel normally catering for just our guests and some of the local B&B guests. After your driver had come off the single track road leaving you all stranded in Pennyghael...

From the minute we walked into this hotel we felt at home with the warm welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The bedroom was lovely and spotless clean with everything you need and to top it off a very comfortable bed. There was even seats so you could enjoy the view out of the window when drinking a lovely cup of tea

We spent two nights here as a convenient place to stay to allow us a day visit to Iona .The views from the garden are spectacular with a sea loch stretching to the west and Ben More opposite. Binoculars are a must with the chance of eagles and otters nearby . there are several attractive walks nearby if exercise is...
