Been visiting Belle Vue for a few years now, but what great hosts, friendly and approachable genuine owners that also have they're own life, Bostin breakfast that sets you up for the morning. Rooms are clean with some great views have Barmouth with very short walking distance to local amenities.

We had a lovely relaxing break at the Belle Vue Hotel. We had a rear view room as all sea views were booked out. None the less we had a lovely room and a great view of the mountains. We had a lovely tradition welsh breakfast, which you can't beat, a great start to the day. Andy made us very...

Andy was as welcoming as ever - in the middle of refurbishment - new double glazing fitted, and new carpets. Shame the Barmouth bonfire was not on this year, but we were warned before we arrived. Looking forward to our next stay already. Thanks Andy

Having booked only 24 hours before arriving ( very late ) I was greeted by Andy the owner, who welcomed me and carried my luggage to my room No 9 on the top floor, both the room and the en-suite were very clean, warm and comfortable. I was in a group of walkers who needed to catch an early train...

We are a walking group from Penarth and have stayed here on two occasions. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. The reception area was warm and inviting with the new red carpet. Andy served early breakfasts for us, which enabled us to catch our train for the start of the walks along the Wales Coast path. Thank you so...

The threadbare carpet in the entrance says it all - the whole place needs attention. Luckily I was too busy struggling up the stairs with my bags to pay any attention to detail at first as there was no offer of help to find my room or carry my luggage. The room was a reasonable size and a level of...

Unfortunately, the Bellevue is shabby and tired and is really in need of some tlc and investment to revive it. We stayed there as a group of walkers and were well looked after with an excellent breakfast served freshly cooked each morning, but the public areas are very tired and basic and our bedroom - room 2 - was not...

Yet another friendly warm welcome from Andy & Virginia. They made us all feel at home, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing as always. We have already booked in to visit again soon, and we are counting down the days.

I booked a double room for myself and my two cocker spaniels. The hotel may look a little tired in places but it's clean, comfortable and the location is superb overlooking the beach. Breakfast was absolutely great and Andy & Virginia couldn't have been more accommodating. Absolutely no complaints from me and I will definitely stay again.

Booked a family room, Room ok but needed a little TLC. No window to open in the hot weather just a fire escape door which we couldn't open with a crawling 10 month old. The lady who ran the hotel was loverly and very welcoming but the man never cracked a smile. Only spoke to the guests who'd been there...

With reference to ‘not for us’ These three ladies came in to request a room for the night, they requested a family room and I took them to view the room. They were pleased with the room and requested a travel cot for the baby, this was provided. They had not booked in advance, but had just turned up, hoping...
