Excellent mid week stay. Very relaxed holiday. Beautiful grounds. Lots to do on site. We were staying in Royal rooms - large, well equipped, recently updated (fresh carpets). Most of us had breathtaking views. Very clean, serviced daily. Good dining experience. You get table and server allocated for whole your stay. Tigan was very helpful. Themed cuisine each evening. Plus roast. If you have allergies /dietetry requirements discuss it with the team. They can adjust dishes or you can preorder from different days menu. Very good evening entertainment. On site team delivered two great shows. There was swing singer one night. Was not too kin on the comedian they had one evening. Seemed a little bit outdated. Good pool and spa facilities. If you fancy massage or other treatment book it early. There is free EV charging which is great. During our stay only one out of two connectors worked. Charging parking spaces very tight and awkward to get to. Overall very enjoyable, relaxed stay. We would come back.

It was my fathers 90th birthday so my siblings wanted us all to go as a family to somewhere we could all spend some time together with our dad. We chose a Warner hotel Bodelwyddan Castle as it comes with entertainment and meals all included. We had 6 rooms between us, which I had booked on the Warner website. I would recommend doing a bit of research on locations. All the rooms were great and beds large and comfortable. But it is a large site and we had to swop Dads room as it was a bit of a trek from the main reception. We are all 60 plus and in general that was the age group that seemed to be there for the mid week break. It was a great choice, we had a good time. Food was great, and staff generally very friendly. All activities are included so pool pitch and putt, archery etc. no charge. I did think, things you paid for, drinks (£28 bottle wine) and food in the café felt expensive, but these things are in hotels! My only gripe was they say its cashless but they give you a "large card" with your name and room number on and want you present it at every till then to pay at the end of the stay. Also only one card per room !! It would be much easier if you let you use your credit/debit card as you go. But this is a minor irritation which did not spoil a great two day break.

We stayed in a garden lodge, lovely room and the French windows into the garden were very handy, as it was a very hot weekend. The food was delicious and varied every day, lots to do and can highly recommend the archery, such a laugh, the entertainment was very good, and all the staff we interacted with were very helpful, all in all a great long weekend away, I had thought it expensive before we went but it’s really good value for money when the whole package is taken into consideration, loved our stay and highly recommend the hotel

Lovely stays a garden suite. Serviced in a timely manner and kept clean. Perfect location for exploring north Wales. The gardens immaculate as always and caught the end of the wisteria arch, which is equally as spectacular as the laburnum arch at Bodnant gardens. Very pleased that this year we had an allocated table for the whole holiday, in the dining room, we were there early enough to choose a table which was great. I have an onion allergy which means I struggle with the menus, in fact the Asia menu offered no choices. However, I spoke to the team leader Zac on the first afternoon. He went above and beyond to help. Each morning during our stay he brought the evening menu to our table and went through what I could eat. The carvery part was out for me as there was no onionless gravy and I find that sort of meal very dry without gravy. However, with Zac and the chef’s help I had a good meal every night. I must mention Alice who served us each day, she was happy and cheerful, and nothing was too much trouble. The eggs royals at breakfast were excellent with perfectly cooked poached eggs. Once again, thank you Zac, you went above and beyond and removed the stress from my holiday, knowing what I could eat each morning was much better than wondering if I’d be able to eat something.

Great place to stay staff excellent great shows & activities dining experience for me was a let down although we were refunded the nights meal it is not about the money just don’t offer a service you can’t deliver passable most nights one member of our party had to go without starters for the 4 days as it was to much trouble & took to long to come from the kitchen, on the one night we had to order from the kitchen it took over an hour for the food to appear the others in our party had finished eating by this time we couldn’t expect them to wait the most important part for me is the dining experience so that just my personal experience other guests seemed happy enough other than that would recommend just avoid ordering anything that is not on the buffet

If you stay her need a car or be on a coach trip, lovely grounds to walk round . We were late booking so had to take premier room which was £60 per person for this you had a fridge and fresh milk when required, drink and snacks first day room nice and good size bathroom, but fell it should be £60 extra per room not per person , would happily pay that for fridge and milk.staff in bedrooms very good ,also reception, bar staff and restaurant staff some not so good , one thing lots of people spoke to said was about food , plenty off it but needs menus updated we’re ever you stay all same no what you will get every day. In bars other places stayed staff going round take drinks orders but only ones who received this service were if you paid more and had light on table. My husband went to bar and asked if some one would carry tho for him as bad hands , they did not want to do this had to say then it will stay there before some one brought it tho better service at other sites .would recommend for grounds

Had a lovely weekend at Bodelwyddan Castle. Didn't need to leave the hotel and grounds ,plenty to do on site. A bit disappointed that there were only two quizzes. A special mention to Lewis who ran the activities. He was great. The food, hotel and entertainment were all excellent. We were very lucky with the weather too.
