This hotel was located in a convenient location in the small town of El Chalten. The Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the lounge/dinner area are wonderful. The hotel rooms and bathrooms were a little small and there was no TV in the rooms to watch. We were only here for two nights so we didn't mind it too...

El Chaltén seems to be transitioning from sleepy hikers enclave to a true tourist destination. Infrastructure is improving, bars are popping up, and buses make their way in and out most days. As the personality of the town changes, it's wonderful to stay at a place like Hosteria El Puma. It preserves all the best qualities of the original lodges,...

We stayed in the Torre room, 4 nights. It's a brisk walk in the high winds to some of the trailheads for trekking but overall, a superb location. The breakfasts are hearty with fine yogurt, strong coffee, tasty breads and preserves. Staff members speak English quite well and helped us with LANTAM boarding passes the day of departure. The walk...

Really lovely hotel/ hostel to stay in. Boyfriend and I were here for 2 days and would happily come back again. Very beautiful lodge, clean and safe, good amenities (although the shower water was a little bit on the cold side), a nice fireplace in the lobby, and easy laundry service for a very reasonable price. It's slightly less central...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for only two nights but LOVED this place. The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations about hiking, views, restaurants, etc. They knew everything. The rooms were very clean, large and comfortable. I wished we had stayed longer. Extremely walkable location - we didn't use our car. I would definitely recommend this hotel...

Some of the reviews say that it is not in the heart of town, but it is 1 block from a main street with restaurants, shops, and trailheads. So I would say that the location was great! The staff was also very helpful and accessible at all times of the day/night. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet, private, and clean....

El Chalten is the newest town in Argentina and backpackers and hikers come here to visit MT. Fitz Roy. The scenery is spectacular and the staff was extremely helpful in recommending daily excursions. Rooms were very comfortable and very quiet, breakfast was adequate and the kitchen staff even prepared some extra food for us when we arrived late one evening....

We were greeted from our long drive from El Calafate with a kiss each from the great staff which sums up a friendly stay. A nice choice at breakfast and quiet rooms. All the restaurants and bars were within walking distance. The fireplace made for a nice setting to chat to fellow guests.
