This is a nice place with friendly helpful people on a good location. The breakfast was satisfactory, the bathrooms nice. One of the rooms had an unpleasant smell (smelly feet), the other very dirty windows. As this is not a cheap hotel, we cannot give it an overall rating of 4. Had 3,5 existed, we would have awarded it.

Hello! Thank you for leave your comment. The windows are cleaned every day but it is a hard work to keep them clear all the time with this changeable weather of rain, wind and dust from the street without asphalt. We will consider the details mentioned. Our best regards from the staff!

Comfortable beds, spacious room. The breakfasts were nice, and the people at the desk were very helpful in arranging side excursions like horseback riding and giving recommendations for hikes and restaurants. The WiFi was painfully slow (as in almost all places we visited in Patagonia except for El Calafate) but the staff served us candy and tea by the fireplace...

From this excellent hotel both for service and location allow us to hiking in the Los Glaciares National Park. The staff was excellent and the room great. A place to relax and stay away from the main streets.

We were picked up at the bus station and dropped off at the inn. What a warm welcome we received. The rooms are nice .. but really the thing that made our stay great was the women at the front who helped us out from showing us the hikes, to making reservations for dinner. Cynthia at the front even fixed...

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in El Chalten. Arriving mid-morning from El Calafate we were picked up at the bus station and whisked over to the hotel. It is about a twenty minute walk from the hotel to the Los Glaciers National Park, but the trailheads to many treks are close to El Puma. The staff was amazingly...

We loved each minute we stayed at Hosteria El Puma! It felt like home. Anita and Cintia are sweethearts- so warm and friendly. We were so comfortable here and loved winding down the day with the fire in the main living room. It felt like a very authentic Patagonian experience.

Stayed at El Puma on last few days of trekking holiday with Exodus Travel. Comfortable beds and rooms were much appreciated, and meals were excellent including hearty continental breakfast. Only issue was that the heating was a little on the high side....but couldn't complain as the handwashed items dried in no time! Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Our room was very clean and roomy. Good breakfast. I loved all the climbing photos and descriptions on the walls of the breakfast room. Reception desk staff were OK. Had a bit of a mix up on my laundry bill. I was charged the equivilent of $20 US for a pair of slacks and when I questioned my bill, I...

I stayed at the Hostería El Puma as part of the Explora Travesía, and the lovely ladies at the reception really took very good care of me from the first day to the day I left.
