We stayed at El Puma at the start and at the end of our trek on the FitzRoy circuit and it was wonderful. we had a half board and the food was excellent, the staff delightful and the rooms were all one could ask for, especially after seven days in the mountains. I cannot recommend more highly.

This was a great little hotel. Good location near the trail heads but it was quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped with picking trails, making dinner reservations, and finding a place to do laundry. They have a nice fire place in the front lobby to sit by on rainy days. The breakfasts were good with several...

Well, my wife and me are back from Patagonia for a while already, but I'd still like to leave a "footprint" here for El Puma; even more so as I recovered my access to TripAdvisor :-) Where to start? Well, with this nice location in El Chaltén - a tad off the main road but just a couple of minutes...

This was an extremely pleasant night for us. We had stayed elsewhere and we welcomed the friendly hosts as we came in on late notice, late night. The room was very clean and large and the bed was comfortable. We woke up well rested and had an excellent breakfast there. I would give them an excellent rating and forgot to...

The young staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Not a fancy hotel but cosy, small lounge with big chairs and a log fire. Can't comment on the dinners as there were so many places to chose from in village, breakfast was fine.

This is a nice place with friendly helpful people on a good location. The breakfast was satisfactory, the bathrooms nice. One of the rooms had an unpleasant smell (smelly feet), the other very dirty windows. As this is not a cheap hotel, we cannot give it an overall rating of 4. Had 3,5 existed, we would have awarded it.

Hello! Thank you for leave your comment. The windows are cleaned every day but it is a hard work to keep them clear all the time with this changeable weather of rain, wind and dust from the street without asphalt. We will consider the details mentioned. Our best regards from the staff!

Comfortable beds, spacious room. The breakfasts were nice, and the people at the desk were very helpful in arranging side excursions like horseback riding and giving recommendations for hikes and restaurants. The WiFi was painfully slow (as in almost all places we visited in Patagonia except for El Calafate) but the staff served us candy and tea by the fireplace...

From this excellent hotel both for service and location allow us to hiking in the Los Glaciares National Park. The staff was excellent and the room great. A place to relax and stay away from the main streets.

We were picked up at the bus station and dropped off at the inn. What a warm welcome we received. Cynthia at the front even fixed...

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in El Chalten. Arriving mid-morning from El Calafate we were picked up at the bus station and whisked over to the hotel.
