The small hotel in town offers a good view of the mountains, spectacular view in a clear day. The hotel offers small rooms, almost no place to hang cloths or towels . Breakfast is modest WiFi in rooms and lobby Cleanness is not the top characteristic

Small local hotel directly across from the bus station. Great views of Fitz Roy from every room. Good basic breakfast included. Espresso bar in morning; wine bar at night. Friendly service. Rooms were clean but very small with slanted rooflines. Perfect for a place to lay your head at night but not much more than that. This hotel is at...

Stayed here for our trip to Mount Fitzroy. The rooms, although small, are very clean and well equipped. There is good wifi and a nice breakfast spread. The staff are also very nice. Definitely recommend for your trip.

This is a very nice hotel in El Chalten. The location is pretty good, and the staff is friendly. The rooms are fairly basic, but they had everything we needed, and the place feels very cozy. I would stay there again.

Stayed four nights. Room very clean warm and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful with knowledgable daily hike advice. Breakfast is OK, could be better though. There is a good Espresso machine, the results of it are disappointing ( they just don't know how to exploit the possibility). The cake offered is mediocre. Hotel is very close to Bus Terminal...

The staff was not too friendly. The rooms were small and cramped. However, location is nice (just off the main road in EC) and close to a couple of nice bars and restaurants. Free WiFi. Limited Breakfast.

We visited El Chalten during low season and ended up at La Aldea since it was one of the few available options. Floor flooded with water entering from the window, mediocre breakfast and not really welcoming staff. On top of it, we had to check out one day earlier than planned and still got charged for the whole amount booked....

We stayed 3 nights in February 2015 in room 16 upstairs. Firstly, it is important to note that this small town is primarily a base for trekking. There is a range of accommodation but it is basically 3hrs. from El Calafate and at the end of the road so rates are predictably high given the seasonal demand. The town is...

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my bf and I liked it a lot. El Chalten is a relatively new village full of very touristic hotels and restaurants, some of them with very bad taste. La Aldea distinguishes itself from being one of the few hotels with an architecture that goes well with the beautiful mountainous landscape of...

Rustic hotel near to bus station and lots of eateries, but El Chalten is not particularly large so most lodging places will be close to restaurants etc. As mentioned many times, bedrooms are small, but we found it easy to organise all our belongings on the 2 large shelves and the table.
