Where collecting beautiful shells is like an olympic sport...we loved it so much we wrote a song about it! It's amazing that you can have your own private island (sandbar) for the day and when they drop you off and pick you up there's only a little area of sand above water but the rest of the day you have...

My husband and I had one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays at Kulu Bay Resort. From the moment we were picked up and transported to our destination, we knew we were in for a treat. The staff were extremely warm and made us feel very comfortable on our arrival. Our accommodation was a few meters from the pristine...

This is not your typical tropical resort. This is where you come to unplug and really remove yourself from modern amenities. Set in a beautiful bay on a smaller island off of mainland Fiji, Kulu Bay offers peacefulness and relaxation but in a much calmer sense than a larger, mainland resort. The staff are super friendly, you get your own...

My husband and I have recently returned from Kulu Bay Resort. I wish I had read all the negative reports in their entirety prior to booking seven nights. The negative feedback is true and accurate in every single comment. I always choose to believe the good rather than the bad. Unfortunately in this case I was mistaken. The only thing...

We visited Kulu Bay Resort for a week in March, and I finally am getting around to my review. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Kulu Bay, particularly the staff, our trip to the school and the kids performance, and our picnic to the island. The picnic was the highlight. Our villa was so roomy and bright and airy. We...

Kulu Bay is a beautiful spot. Snorkelling right off the beach, huge bures - and only 7 of them in the entire bay. Remote, romantic, highly recommended. Sandbank picnic is a must do - really beautiful. However before going make sure the umbrella is working (otherwise you will have no shelter out there) and check the picnic lunch (ours consisted...

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights towards the end of November 2014. We had an amazing time. We found the facilities to be beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff were all fabulous, very warm and accommodating. They even made a birthday cake for my partner without us requesting it. We felt very well taken care of, and experienced...

Me and my family stayed here for a week (7 of us including a toddler) and we have the best time. The home cooked food was amazing in which everyone had the same meal for lunch and dinner. The one thing i remember from this trip are the people that work there, they are such hard workers and accommodate to...

My husband and I just returned on May 13, 2014 from a fabulous 9 day stay at Kulu Bay Resort on Beqa, Fiji. After traveling for 9 days in the amazing South Island, New Zealand (which we loved, by the way), it was such a pleasure to just relax and be pampered at KBR. We were treated like royalty and...

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in October and were so happy with our experience. The staff took wonderful care of us all week, and man was the food good! We left each meal completely stuffed because we couldn't stop eating it, it was too delicious. The snorkeling was fantastic. I don't think I've snorkeled on a...

“All the bures are so very private but, if you want the most private one, we recommend bure #7 which is at the very end of the resort.”

“make sure to bring your bug spray! Mosquito are pretty bad. Also be sure to charge any electronics you need during the evenngs during the day as our stay was very overcast and we lost power around 8 a couple times. Didn't cause us any problems though as it's a wonderful place to see stars, listen to the ocean and go to bed early after all the good food.”
