A very pleasant location on the hill side above the city away from the traffic. Very good value for money. Rooms adequately furnished. Breakfast average quality and a good selection of dishes for Venezuela on the general menu. Staff always helpful and polite.

Hotel in its own compound with attractive gardens in one of the better areas of Caracas. Helpful friendly staff although, as with most things in Venezuala, you have to be patient. average quality breakfast

It is an old historic hotel just below Avila mountain. The reception stuff is super slow and not well connected with the management. We had reservation done but obviously it was hard to find. Rooms are old but the garden is pretty well maintained. They dont prepare breakfast box if you leave early. The guards though are very nice and...

We stayed here twice as part of a group tour with World Expeditions. Both times we had to leave the hotel very early (between 3-4am) to catch flights so I cannot comment on breakfast. The first visit we had to change rooms because our room wouldn't lock, this was our only real problem. The second visit, the elevators were not...

I have visited this hotel since 2013 and considering the actual situation for Venezuela we can admire the effort that the hotel management is doing to improve conditions (food taste, furniture and rooms) unfortunately is taking too much time to get acceptable standard. is on track

This is an historic hotel, built in the 1950s, with a decent bar/pool area. It's not magnificent, but it's safe and set away from the central city in a suburban area. My room door lock didn't function, so they had to fix it. All broken parts, construction leftovers, etc., are thrown in the back yard, which was the view from...

We have stayed in this hotel overnight while travelling on our tour from Canaima National Park to Los Roques National Park. Note: in Venezuela services and hotels are 2 marks lower than same in Europe. I am hiker and don't expect any special conditions from the hotel. I like clean rooms and proper breakfast Breakfast I did not try (it...

The first time when I arrived here, I was impressed by the 'old-school' look of this hotel. It's a classic and I loved it. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't know how to treat customers, the room service is very poor, and they could organize better their tasks, too. The furniture is old, the meal doesn't taste as it should ( could...

We stayed for two nights as part of a group tour. to sit down in the garden, you had to wipe the dust off the furniture. Our shower did not work and the folks at the front desk did not seem to care. We only got it fixed after flagging down a maid for an extra towel (there were 3...

“If they get more guests & could earn more, they would have the funds to modernize the one time superb hotel - hopefully. But the political stalmate might delays things, perhaps. But hope will die last !!!”

“Check your room thoroughly before you unpack. Make sure all the plumbing, lights and air conditioning work. Some in our group had to change rooms because the plumbing would not drain. One of our lamps did not work. We were short towels.”

“Serendipity: our room on the upper floor above the reception had a balcony view over the garden and tall treetops. But the rooms downstairs had newer fittings and furnishings.”
