Please note that Tuskers is too far from the Delta to offer mokoro excursions. Our sister camp, Xobega Island Camp, does offer mokoro and boating excursions in the Okavango Delta.

hi Chris. Tuskers is a private camp ,part of Kgori. Moremi Reserve just up the road from the camp entrance. the Oryx do prefer the sandier, drier open plains rather than wooded areas. lots of them in western / central Namibia too. very majestic. we visited earlier than previously, and found the grass quite high, making game viewing tricky in certain areas. a lot was missed due to visibility issues. also quite a bit cooler from june onwards.
