The hotel is located on a terrace above padi fields on the flood plain of a river, which had devastated the nearby village during the recent cyclone. We reached the hotel by passing an imposing, abandoned railway station and then crossing an old metal bridge before bumping along a track to glimpse our first view of the hotel. Each bungalow...

The type of wooden hut cabins Disney create for their mankind characters, all set in the wilderness animation of Madagascar. Haphazardly landscaped gardens mixing stone, pink blossoms and hay like grass. Princess draped sleeping thrones and rooms equipped with amenities such as heaters, fans, fridges. Hot hot shower medium water pressure for Madagascar, you had to press the button for...

Located in the forest, next to a river. Clean and big room. Not so much choice for breakfast. In the evening, the bar closes at 21h/9PM. Internet only in the lobby and restaurant. Good size portions for dinner (Other places give too much) Not enough light in the room and restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay here. The bungalows are comfortable and clean and had a lovely view. Very quiet. There were different styles and ages of accommodations. The pool was a treat after a day in the bush. The landscaped setting was nicely done and one could see native birds especially along the river. We enjoyed the meals which were French-style and...

When I read some of these comments, I do wonder what people expect. Let's put this into perspective, this is a three star Hotel set deep in the Madagascan rainforest. There are bugs, midges, mosquitos, mud, water, damp, humidity and then there is beauty, brilliance, colour, flora and fauna. It may not be the three star standard, European levels, that...

This hotel is in a riverside setting very close to Andasibe. The grounds are very pleasant with a small pool too. Accommodation is is in bungalows which are spacious and simply but tastefully decorated. The initial impression was good but on closer inspection we noticed dust and dirt, ants, and several things which didn't work or were coming off the...

I booked the room by the hotel website. It took 2 days to get the reply. There are several bungalows and we got one of them. The room in the bungalow was quite big with separated bathroom and toilet, no bath tub. The hotel is not far from Andasibe national park. It only took 5 mins by car, around 30...

We visited as part of a honeymoon trip in November 2016, the tour being run by Za Tours and booked through Natural World Safaris. This hotel provided an ideal spot from which to explore Andasibe and Mantadia National Parks, being in close proximity to Andasibe and not too far from Mantadia. The lodges were spacious, clean and well equipped with...

The water is yellow green in the "luxury" room but that doesn't seem concern reception staff when you complain. "No immediate solution so live with it or ship out". Got it! Personnel has no empathy. Lousy Service.

Stayed in a bungalow which was spacious and very clean. The drinks in the room fridge are expensive though. The views from the rooms are great, and the hotel is conveniently located to explore the national parks,
