This hotel has the potential to be a real stand out, made of salt, the design is wonderful, really interesting shape and layout, quirky carvings in the salt walls, great communal spaces such as a fantastic games room (fab idea as there's nowhere to go nearby) and obviously aiming at a high end market BUT in the midst of their...

We decided not to be boring travelers, and stayed in a hotel made of salt Cristal Samana. This is incredible to live in a such unusual place! Moreover, it is situated in Salar, outside the city, so you can feel a sense of serenity there. I was so impressed with this hotel as it is the only hotel in Bolivia...

The hotel is situated at the limit of the Uyuni salt plane in a dirty brown part of the salar It serves mainly as a construction zone, the noise is unbearable and the entrance is clearly marked by junk and construction materials left Inside it's ok at least There was no person attending the reception and it took 20 min...

I have booked the hotel on the midday on our way form La Paz, the receptionist was nice and asked us if we want the late dinner, also he helped us with finding a Guide through the Salar de Uyuni, which thankfully had time. Almost all things you ill find in this hotel are made of salt. It is really...

The rooms and building were beautiful--views of the Salar, good beds, plenty of blankets, hot water for showers, game room for the kids, the included breakfast was good......our review is average based on the dinner and the communication about the meal options. We specifically asked in advance about dinner options and were told that the only possibility was the advance-reserved...

BE CAREFUL - we had organized a transfer from the airport to the hotel and the guy from the hotel who picked us up wanted us to withdraw $600.- from an ATM in Uyuni (which was the price for 2 nights and 2 rooms). He told us that this was the amount we owed the hotel and since the wifi...

We arrived at night, and the hotel lit up like a gem in the night. Salt hotel seems to be a must stay in while in the area, and it did not disappoint. The interior of the hotel is very cozy with nice homely designs. The lounge around were in abundance and nicely designed- one would start to wonder if...

Considering the location on the Salar de Uyuni, this is a very nice plaace. Staff is helpful and friendly and the buffet food was good. I'd like to see some fish on the menu..... We stayed in #504-- in a wing that is still under construction. Room and view were nice. If I owned this hotel, I would be concerned...
