After catching the Wara Wara train from Villazon, we arrived at 2am and had a few hours until we were leaving on our salt flats tour. The staff on reception was helpful and made check-in very quick so we could get to bed. The double bed was comfortable and separate shower/ toilet just down the corridor was fine. Wifi didn't...

This hostel is right in the middle of Uyuni and only a 5' walk from the bus-terminal/street. All rooms are clean, the dorm spacious with good beds and enough bathrooms with hot-water showers with good water-pressure. Breakfast is good with toast, butter and jam, cereals with yogurt, tea and coffee. Wifi is somewhat stable but rather slow. The staff is...

It seemed like the floorboards were going to break. The kitchen was not very clean, so we avoided going here for breakfast. A bit old and run down. You can hear people in neighbouring rooms. The shower door was broken and didn't appear that any effort to repair it had been made. Staff were very friendly. The room we stayed...

Perfect for a one night stopover after the salt flat tour, we stayed here a night and then flew to la Paz the next morning. Decent rooms, good showers and the staff were extremely polite and helpful! Located right in the centre of town. I would highly recommend the flight to la Paz over the bus if you have the...

Not sure why there are so many reviews about poor service on here - we received great service! The lady who runs reception was very helpful in letting us know where things were and best bus companies etc. the dorms were a good size and the showers were extra hot! It is more expensive than many other hostels but to...

This hostel is in a good location, the showers were hot with good pressure and the place was generally clean. The stairs and floor boards were so creaky, I honestly think someones foot will go through them soon. The kitchen doesn't even have a fridge! The breakfast was okay, pretty typical Bolivia, stale bread and tiny bowls for cereal. Breakfast...

I have a feeling that all accommodation in Uyuni is overpriced due to the influx of tourists. This hostel was certainly nothing special, and more expensive than my B&B in Sucre, BUT I will say: the beds were clean and comfortable, there was hot water in the shower, simple breakfast was provided, and wifi worked well for rural Bolivia. That's...

This hostel is perfectly located for shopping for salt flat tours. But that is about it. The service of the employees is bad. The wifi is bad. We saw a mouse running out of our dorm room. Half the showers was working. Okay, those which were working were great. Breakfast is very very minimal and the kitchen is hardly a...

I personally did not book this hostel, my friends did so I could not leave a review on Hostelworld. After coming from a 3 day tour of salar de uyuni starting in San Pedro, I missed the signs on the hostel bathrooms that apparently say doing laundry isn't allowed. There was also another person who did this but they were...

This place was super pricey for Bolivia, and not really worth the money in my opinion... but all in all it was a functional one night stay. Hot water and kitchen to cook. We had a heater in our room which was pretty nice. Basic breakfast. You might need some extra blankets...
