I love this posada! It is a bit outside of town, so it's nice to have a car while you are there in Colonia Tovar to get in to see the small tourist sites or buy fresh produce from local growers in the village. If you go during "Oktovarfest" in October, the posada can help arrange golf-cart taxis to shuttle...

The overall atmosphere of the bedroom and the hotel makes you feel that you have traveled to a part of Germany. The view from the bedroom terrace was spectacular. The...

Our room was a small one, and the bathroom was very poor and...

I was there with my husband and 3 teenagers. It was Carnaval, not the best time to visit Colonia Tovar as it gets awfully overcrowded, you simply can't walk around the town without bumping into people. “Rooms close to the kitchen can get noisy in the morning; the master BR in the original house has nice views on 2 sides and a balcony.”
