This resort is very well maintained and in a lovely spot. The views over the harbour are spectacular, the water is crystal clear, the accommodation is spotlessly clean and if you want Mosi will cook you fabulous fish and chips - or a menu of different meals. I stayed with friends for two nights and will be sure to visit...

The owner and his staff were accommodating & attentive to our needs and preferences. We appreciated being able to stay together in the upstairs "Family Room" with our traveling companions and like having a "village" type experience for this portion of our stay in Tonga. We would return if our travels brought us back to that area. Far from town...

It's located in a quiet idyllic side of the island with an wonderful view of the lagoon. The private beach was the best part - swimming each morning before breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the kitchenette with the big fridge is a plus. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (Sundays included) can be arranged. The internet quality was good -...

I travelled to Vava'u in January and I stayed in Mystic Sands with my mum and sister, we had the choice between the house or 2 water view rooms, we chose the water view rooms as we thought it would be more spacious between 3 people as it was 2 separate rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The...

It was a great decision as we really enjoyed our stay at Mystic Sands and were treated to some priceless experiences that we cherish. The key reasons why: 1....

There is no doubt that Vava'u itself is the highlight of any trip to Tonga. Compared to Tongatapu, 'Eua and Ha'apai what sets Vava'u apart is the more mountainous islands with gorgeous white beaches and dramatic scenery. Mystic Sands is brilliantly located opposite a number of smaller islands while having direct access to the sea (brilliant for swimming and snorkelling;...
