Overlooking a gorgeous rocky beach that stretches out to the reef, the hotel has a number of comfortable bungalows. The hotel itself is fairly tired looking and the breakfasts very underwhelming but the lunch and dinners we had there were much better. There are decent facilities including a pool overlooking the ocean, kayaks for hire (standard ones are free, clear...

Nengone Village is my favourite hotel ever! ❤️There is no a better way to wake up with a view on the blue water and palm trees. Amazing breakfast, amazing dinner, helpful stuff. Beach bugalow is the best choice. This hotel is a must if you travel to New Caledonia.

Took a beach front bungalow amongst plam trees with stunning views of the turquoise lagoon off Ile de Maré where the surf sound from the reef lulls you to sleep. Idyllic! I can confirm that the bungalow was very clean and well maintained with an excellent shower et cetera. There is relatively little choice on the island for food, but...

Stayed 2 nights in a beach view bungalow and was well worth the extra money, step straight from your door and a few steps to the sand. Watched the whales playing and jumping from our veranda. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and functional, TV with some English/Australian channels, coffee and tea in room and a small bar...

Set up on a picture perfect location in front of the beach at Ile de Maré, among lush vegetation and tall coconut trees, the bungalows in a traditional Kanak style are equipped with basic amenities and a small terrace outside. The bathroom was very small though, and there was no mosquito net at the windows. The restaurant is good, serving...

Stayed three nights at beautiful Nengone. The bungalow was simple, clean and very well kept with aircon and comfy bed. The hotell is just off the beach with a small pool overlooking the ocean. The view is great with waves crashing in on the reef. Very relaxing surroundings. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, always cheerful and happy and...

Hotel Negone is really the only game in town on Mare (if you wanna pre-book) and it was probably the nicest place we stayed in New Cal. Our little bungalow was charming and comfortable, the staff are delightful and the restaurant was excellent. The weather was a bit iffy and there was a very stiff onshore breeze the whole four...

We had been to Noumea before but decided to check out one of the Loyalty Islands for a break and chose Mare and Hotel Nengone-what a great choice!! We had a De Luxe bungalow right on the beach(No 1) which was sensational. The restaurant was equally amazing with the selection of food and wines and great service from exceptionally friendly staff.The...

Booked a tour with hotel Nengone when our ship was in Mare. The guide was supposed to pick us up at 8h30 in Tadine. When he didn't show up, we phoned the hotel 4 times. On every occasion, the person at the hotel told us that the guide had left and was supposed to arrive soon. He finaly arrived at...

Had a very favourable first impression of this hotel. There was a mix up with our accommodation. A staff member from Nengone Village who had arrived to collect guests asked us if we were alright and then contacted the place we were supposed to stay at, on our behalf. When that fell through, we turned up at this hotel several...
