In the summer of 2014 I was travelling in Northern Ethiopia. I visited Mekelle, Adigrat, Axum, Gonder, Bahir Dar and Addis Ababa. This hotel was overpriced for what it had to offer. The room was big but dirty, no working sockets, no running water, bad smell, half of the time nobody at the reception, dark hallways, ... If possible: stay...

We're pretty used to dirty hotels, but the Circle was just awful. Sunken mattresses on the beds, no water at all, pounding bass til 1 AM from the bar next door, "ferengi prices" double those posted to the left of the desk (an insane 280 birr per night for two people, locals pay 130), rooms that reek of cigarettes, wifi...

The hotel has a very central location but unfortunately the rooms have cockroaches, the rooms are very noisy as buses and tuk-tuks pass right outside the hotel. The rooms are spacious and not very clean but the showers were warm and had plenty of water. We didn't interact much with the staff, so cannot comment. There was a new hotel...

We chose this hotel due to an urgency (other options like Queen Taitu Pension and Belegez Pension were without water and was too late). The best of this hotel is centric location and a reasonably price but these reasons really don’t mind in front the incredibly noise from different places (disco, taxies, mosques, etc.) and a little bit dirt (towels...

We are relatively hearty travelers and, in reasonable situations (tents, small towns, Have bunked with bugs. Circle hotel is noisy, dirty and the management is relatively unaccomodating. After returning from dinner, we had about 100 cockroaches in our rooms. WE killed the m all, switched rooms to one wiht a broken toiles (the one opposite the disco was too loud)...
