My friend and myself were interested in staying here because we wanted to camp and it looked very nice .so i had emailed and tried a number from an old guide book but could not get through so i googled the place and found another number that was on the Ghanaian website.I rang and was met with the rudest response...

The hotel is run well by Eric who is great and very helpful! The food is decent enough although takes a while to get. By Ghana standards its nice, rooms are nice enough, there's a bar and decent food to order, great location, private little beach-like area with a jetty (was broken when I was there) would be nice if...

Hotel was worth the long walk from the village. We slept in the dorm, which is one of the cheapest option in Ghana. Service is slow as usual, but prices were reasonable and meals offer interesting enough. I loved possibility to swim in the lake, it was very refreshing and bilharzia free. Manager arranged us a local guide for a...

The location by the lake is perfect and with all the animals is feels like a local noah's ark ... But then it goes downhill. We had booked but they lost our booking. We got put in the chalets but then got asked to move rooms because someone else wanted these rooms. The food took about 2h to come and...

The Rainbow has been our long-time favourite destination for some relaxation by the lakeshore ! Its flowers, peaceful atmosphere, donkey and sheep make it a great environment for approaching this mysterious Bosomtwe Lake. In fact, as the closest neighbour of the Rainbow, we, at the Green Ranch (where you can go horse-back riding, eat vegetarian food and home-stay) are always...

This is a really well designed lodge complex that is well maintained but it is pretty far off the beaten track which means you rely on them for all food and drinks. It would appear that for this reason they have upped their prices (Lrg bottle water C4, veg rice C10, breakfast pancakes C6). The food we had here was...

A group of us stayed for two nights at the Rainbow Guesthouse. It is simple, fairly basic accommodation but it is clean and the facilities are good (each bungalow has its own bathroom). The photographs that have been uploaded by some past reviewers must be old because the place definitely doesn't look that tatty anymore. There is a communal seating...

We were staying at the Guesthouse in October 2010. it was a very nice experience. Our bungalow was comfortable to our European habits and the place looks like paradise. the deck on the lake offers a great view. The place was quite adventureous to reach, but a true oasis of African nature. we had a warm welcome by the owner...
