The hotel, the rooms, the decoration were all very unique, and authentic to this desert region of Morocco. From the doorways, to the bedding, it was truly like staying in a royal kasbah. We only stayed there for one night on our Globus tour of Morocco... But it was a great place to stay. Excellent food, ambience, and value for...

One has to remember that one is in Erfoud not in Fes or Marrakech. I know my room was a nice size, very clean. The service was very good. Ok the dinner and breakfast left something to be desired but it probably is the best there is here. One could do a lot worse.

This is a wonderful hotel in a pretty remote area of Morocco. It is beautiful and offers a very comfortable and pretty place to stay. The rooms are very large, immaculate, with nice Moroccan decor, comfortable beds and pillows and nice large bathrooms. The dinner buffet and breakfast were great and offered lots of choices (everything was really good and...

The hotel is beautiful as others stated. The staff were friendly. My only issue is that we arrived in mid-January which is the slow season. We were four and there were another 4 people there as well. That said, there were no welcome drinks, cookies or music as we read about. Dinner consisted of three choices, Chicken Provincial, Spaghetti Bolognese...

Not sure what other hotels are around to compare this to. Stayed in January and probably not the best time to go. Room has heat but the bathroom doesn't and takes a long time to warm up the bathroom. We were the only group there and everyone's dinner entree had to be sent back to get reheated. Breakfast was awful....

This place would be perfect, but it was ice cold and the heating did not adequately warm the rooms. The Sahara is amazing, the food was great, the music was awesome - but we needed heat. If they fix that issue - this would be a 5-star property. We froze and couldnt wait for our next stop on our journey...

This was a welcome oasis after a long day in our tour bus. The property is beautiful with a large pool and spacious rooms. It was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our dinner and breakfast buffets offered plenty of choices and we were very satisfied with the food. The staff also was friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would recommend...

We stayed here on a group tour. The hotel is beautiful. The Kasbah is truly a fortress. The room are very nice & large. They have a small frig & a very small TV, not that we used it. The bathroom is nice & roomy. The shower is large. There is a small safe in the room. The grounds are...

Located in Erfoud on the edge of the Sahara desert and the Merzouga Sands the Kasbah Chergui Hotel is something out of Arabian Nights. The sprawling premises is set out like a desert oasis surrounding a centrally placed swimming pool. The rooms are clean and spacious and nicely decorated and very quiet - For once we could sleep without the...

Originally I was to only stay one night here but unfortunately I woke up with a "bug" and needed a doctor - the staff plus my tour leader arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel etc. The Angels of the housekeeping staff took GREAT care of me for 2 days - I was lucky and now have some...
