Heading to Kinigi to visit Volcano Park? Then arrive here the night before and stay two nights. We climbed Mount Bisoke & were so glad we had this excellent hotel to return to (you'll be too tired to go much further!). Wonderful staff, clean and pleasant rooms (with good wi-fi!) and they even cleaned our shoes after they were completely...

The La Palme is one of the newer hotels in this area (Ruhengeri/Musanze). I have stayed here a couple of times for several days each. The staff are friendly. The corner rooms are spacious and have small balconies. All rooms are basic, nothing fancy but clean. A beverage refrigerator is included and a small TV is available with limited channels,...

We stayed here in April for 4 nights in order to do gorilla and golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. Staying her would be worth it for the shoe cleaning alone! As we went in the rainy season most of our treks were muddy affairs. Upon our return to the hotel we were met at our vehicle by the...

Spent a week here, and really liked this hotel. My room was comfortable and very quiet, the restaurant food very good, and the staff were especially great. The back gardens were nice and the restaurant / bar opened on to the gardens, so it was nice to sit outside for lunch or in the evening. I recommend!

We enjoyed the restaurant here four times during our stay in Musanze. They were warm and welcoming each time, which alone was fantastic, but the seemingly endless supply of a particular Bordeaux we enjoyed, reliable wifi, and a delicious vegetable soup sealed the deal.

we went to the area for gorilla trekking. the day of gorilla trekking we checked out and was informed that we could leave our luggage at the reception and pick it up on our return. this sounded more convient. after a long day of trekking we came to hotel, it took them 30 mins to tell us our luggage is...

Stayed here for two nights, as part of a gorilla trek package. Rooms were pretty standard and beds were hard but showers were good. We were on the top floor and had birds clawing on the tin roof, so I would request a first floor room for this reason. The best thing about this place were the staff, so nice....

This was a last minute middle of the night option! We managed to get trek permits for the next morning at the very last minute. We left Kigali at about 19h00 and stopped at the first available Hotel closest to where we had to be the next morning i.e Parc Head quarters! Luckily they had a room available, check in...

I went there to do the gorilla trek, which was amazing and the hotel is not far from the starting point, which is really convenient. The beds were so hard that it was uncomfortable to sleep but on a positive note, the showers had strong pressure, which was much appreciated after a long hike. I would not return.

I stayed in Ruhengeri for 2 nights; from Ruhengeri the lakes of the vulcano park and gorillas can easily be visited. The staff of the Hotel is very friendly. The rooms are very basic. There is hot water in the Hotel; every room has a boiler. The wifi was working reasonably well, especially in the common area (lobby, restaurant). Don't...
