As alluded to in other reviews, what makes the hotel a 5/5 is the service. I just finished hiking Kilimanjaro with some friends and since we've been back they've been eager to assist with any planning, transportation, day trip suggestions, etc. Plus it seems like everyone who works here is glad to see you ALL the time. I've been here...

The people working here is what makes this place great. When we arrived we were greeted with a big hug from Teddy and Innocent, probably the warmest welcome I have ever received. We were then provided with a cold glass of fresh mango juice which is exactly what was needed after spending 30 mins in a hot taxi. The rooms...

I was part of a group of three who stayed here in conjunction to a Kilimanjaro climb and safari. This was the hotel that was selected through the people we were working with, Lens Trekking. It was superb! The front desk was very helpful, polite, and professional. One of the best parts, at least for us, is that our stay,...

The staff is awesome, always helpfull with everything and available at all times! The food is very good and not at all expensive. Both of the rooms we stayed in were very clean and nice! Would definitely recommend! Nothing bad to say about this hotel and definitely one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my two month visit...

The staff and manager great you with a smile and hug. Very friendly and accomdating staff. Basic clean accommodation. Some money of this lodge goes towards a primary school. We stayed there on a layover day. Highly recommend the place. The lodging is basic but very clean. The rooms have Air conditioning.

Ultimate Kilimanjaro uses this hotel to accommodate the climbers and this is the reason for my stay in this hotel. The location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, though it's only a 10-15 minute drive to Moshi. My room unfortunately didn't had a view of the mountain, but it's possible to go upstairs and see the view of...

We stayed here for one night before and one night after our Kilimanjaro ascent with Kandoo Adventures. We arrived at 10pm to huge welcoming hugs from Teddy Bear and a refreshing glass of fruit juice. We chose to stay here because we liked the fact the hotel supports the school next door. Our room was clean with a mosquito net...

While we didn't stay at the lodge, we stopped here on the way from the airport to our retreat center. We enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch and got to support a great organization. While we were leaving we saw the children at the attached school go to recess and it really warmed our hearts. The food was great, the staff...
