Fantastic accommodation, very spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds. Food was excellent and the staff could not do enough for us. High light coming back from an all day safari to a campfire and cocktails!

The camp is very well located within the crater. Although it does not have a view on the crater, it is set in a beautiful environment, surrounded by stunning acacias trees. The tents are very comfortable, very well appointed - and so are the common parts. The staff was very nice & kind - attentive. The food was good.

The Ngorongoro tented camp was the first of three Lemala Tented Camps we visited on our recent trip to Tanzania and to my mind was the best. Waking up and looking out at the Flat Crown trees was amazing. The staff, Nelson, John and others epitomised the friendliness of the Tanzanian people we met generally. The short trip down into...

I miss the Lemala camps so much! First, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking and magical place. The location of this camp ensures you can easily be one of the first into the crater--allowing intimate encounters with wildlife and gorgeous lighting for photos. The camp is surrounded by acacia trees and is beautiful. Our first afternoon we were greeted by...

Lemala Ngorongoro, where we stayed the night before our decent into the crater, was a delightful place to land on what was to be a rainy evening of our safari. Its setting is amongst beautiful acacia trees and situated very near the entrance to the Ngorongoro crater. Their space is warm and elegant with large comfortable furnishings, wonderfully comfortable beds,...

This camp is located at the best location for access to the crater, which is a very short drive. Unlike other camps we've stayed, this one is located in more of a jungle setting. Camp staff and our guide were all attentive, anxious to please, and overall excellent. Accommodations were very nice and very comfortable, food was plentiful and lots...

Absolutely fabulous staff, fantastic food and location, location, location!! An experience of a lifetime fulfilled! We managed to enter the Ngorongoro Crater at dawn due to the camp's location and had a headstart on the crowds and giving us more time to see all the wildlife on offer - it was spectacular!

My husband and I stayed at Lemala for one night before our drive into the crater and then continuing onto the Serengeti. We absolutely loved Lemala for the great service, the delicious meal in their beautiful dining room tent, the lovely honeymoon gift (bottle of champagne) waiting for us in the room, and the super cozy room. The camp is...

Just what a tented camp experience should be. Wonderful staff, great food, beautiful and comfortable accommodations and, of course game drives in the crater. The only thing better would have been a longer stay
