We had a lovely stay at this camp. The staff we're lovely, and service was great. We loved the communal dining table in the evening, hearing from other travelers about their trip and where they are from.

An amazing drive from Arusha to the camp with hassle free processing through the Crater gates. Fabulous welcome into our home away from home. So cozy, it does get cold at night and the blankets and books and games made it difficult to leave the main tent to go to your room. Bucket showers, flush toilets, slightly too hard beds...

Oh what a lovely review and I just so love how you finished it off. You could not have put it more perfectly. Don't be serious, relax, dance to the drums and take a piece of Africa home with you engraved on your heart - it is what we always say. I believe the best saying I ever read was...

I spent 1 night here with friends as part of a 6 night safari graduation present. The tents were spacious and made for a comfortable stay. The personalised postcards on each bed were a lovely touch. Despite the cold outside the heaters meant tents were lovely and warm. The food far exceeded my expectations. Waking up to a hot drink...

Lemala is located on the crest of the Ngorongoro Crater and the drive through the jungle to the camp is quite spectacular. Baboons greet you as you enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Our tent was a triple and held three double beds, nightstands, a sofa, coffee table, desk and chair, and two storage chests, plus the attached bathroom. It was...

Enjoyed most aspects of Lemala excepting the cold and the fact that the rooms were not heated and could have been warmed up in the morning. Think that a better job could have been done. The staff was excellent as was the food. We enjoyed Bush TV and chatting with the other guests. We had a good nature hike and...

Thank you so much for your review. As you know, we do heat the rooms up in the evenings before you retire and normally in the morning when tea and coffee is delivered to your rooms your room attendant would ask if you would like the heater put on so thank you so much for bringing this to our attention...

I recently spent a night at Lemala Ngorongoro as I was scouting new properties in Tanzania. After a day spent in the crater, it was lovely to have the camp so close by to our exit (which makes for longer drives in the afternoons and mornings). The camp management and staff were extremely friendly and attentive and ensured all my...

This was such a lovely camp set right up on the edge of the Ngorongoro crater tucked away in the forest. The service was excellent with great...
