Manor Lodge is simply a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are large, beautiful and luxurious. They include outside areas with a view of the coffee plantation. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flowers and a stable too. The public areas and dining rooms are places you can feel at home and visit with other travelers too. The staff is...

This place is absolutely fantastic, we arrive after travelling through the coffee plantation, to a very warm welcome. Everyone was so delightful. We were taken to our room, or should I say small house. It was really nice, on a split level. Tea and coffee making, which we never used. We had our own Butler, he was called John, he...

This was the last stop on our 2 week Safari in Tanzania, and a perfect way to end the trip. The rooms, staff and grounds were absolutely magnificent! The setting is so pretty and relaxing and the staff so wonderful! We spent an hour on the coffee plantation tour which was quite interesting. I recommend this place highly.

We visited the Manor during a staying at Shangri La estate: beatiful location and great attention to details. Suggested on the way to a safari and to spend a day learning about the coffee plantation and its owner coffee culture. Thanks for your friendly welcome and attention. Enjoy.

This is a beautifully kept place with wonderful accommodations. Not many animals except for the horses, which were available to ride. There was also a nice tour of the coffee plantation which surrounds the manor. The food was wonderful and the ambiance was great.

This was our 2nd stop in Tanzania nad by far was the most well kept property. 5 star accomodations, and outstanding service really set this property apart. we were here for 2 nights and other than a bit of rain to dampen the walks, the manor was very grand. This was our last night in Tanzania while driving for the last 8 days in the Serengeti. A Tudor Lodge in the middle of this conservation area? You bet. We had Cottage number 1. It was the furthest out, but right next to the herb garden that the chef uses everyday. Fireplace in the room, hot water bottles in the bed. Excellent lounge and dining room. Nice Wine menu . Beautiful
