We stayed two nights in the palntation lodge and visited the local national parks. Bungalow "Aloe" was ours and the location is very lovely, with lots of flowers and beautifull garden. Saw a multitude of little colourfull birds here. The swimmingpool is also super nice. The hotel staff is very friendly and efficient. Breakfast, lunch and dinner of high quality, so... More

I had wanted to start this review with "The worst thing about this place is the website", because the old website didn't do credit to the beauty of this place. Now they changed it, there is really nothing wrong with it. The rooms are in spacious, tastefully decorated bungalows and perfectly mix modern amenities with local style. They are set... More

A beautiful property with separate cottages and buildings that have several rooms and sitting areas. Lush gardens, a lovely swimming pool and all this on a coffee plantation in a large village where the weather is lovely and warm. We often stayed on the Cater rim where it is really cold and find this a lovely alternative. The food is... More

This is one of the most beautiful lodges that I have had the pleasure to stay in, while in Africa. The rooms are very clean and lovely; the grounds are incredible; the staff is friendly and professional and the food is amazing. I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at the Plantation Lodge for two nights as part of our National Geographic Expedition. The gardens were stunning. The colors were something that Van Gogh would have painted. We were able to meet the master gardener for a personal tour. He designed these grounds with the owners and their vision turned into a breathtaking experience for everyone. We... More

Two nights here after safari at Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. Lovely people, excellent service, good food, comfortable rooms. Outstanding place to stay, it would have been nice to spend a day here just to experience the atmosphere and the gardens more.

We spent one night at The Plantation in June 2016, as a stop on our safari trip. This was a beautiful, peaceful location. The food was excellent. The hospitality was perfect. We were taken on a tour of the grounds by the gardener. They grow all their own vegetables and even grow and roast their own coffee beans. Our great... More

Absolutely beautiful accommodation located just outside of the Ngorongoro Crater area. A great place to stay if you don't feel like dropping off a small ransom to stay at the Ngorogoro Crater Lodge located directly in the park! We spent two nights here and really enjoyed our suite. The property's landscaping is incredible. Beautiful, lush flowers, trees, and plants at... More

The apparently unmarked turn off the main road, and the bumpy track may seem unpromising, but the wait is worth it. The grounds are beautiful and the whole atmosphere calm and peaceful. The comfy rooms are set around the grounds, generally a short walk from the lobby and the restaurant and bar. The evening meal was a fixed menu (often... More
