We booked a tour from Jogja to Bromo and Ijen, where the accommodation was already included. Room was so small it was actually difficult to get to the bed that was next to the wall - and im a pretty skinny person. Everything inside smelled like naphthalene and mold. On wall there was metal paneling.. I'm only guessing what could...

We booked a complete tour in which we have visited the Bromo vulcano and the Ijen crater. As we didn't really looked into the possible hotels for both nights the hotels weren't really voluntary. The hotel were therefore simply a surprise for us. We stayed here one night before going to the Ijen crater. At arrival the hotel appeared to...

Arabica DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE. Okay the rooms are average, not too terrible, not great either. The food at the restaurant is pretty much a choice of mie goreng or nasi goreng. And the wifi is average. But really, the reason we HATED our stay here is because of the horrible staff...

We have been booked in this homestay by our local guide and at our arrival we were given a room which was bad smelling and with no lining. The water was leaking from the toilet and there was NO SINK in the bathroom. The fllor of the bathroom was completely covered with water. We have returned to the receptionist and...

Nothing good about this place. - Door handle broke and we were stuck in the room shouting for help (as we couldn't get out). Screamed for a long time before anyone came. - Filthy rooms - Wallpaper coming off - Ants everywhere (bed, rooms, bathroom) - One dirty towel in your room. - Very uncomfortable bed - Mouse faeces on...

As much as I respect hostels, this is really not ok!! Horrible dirty room with ' beds ' that don't even deserve that name. Best thing was that we had to get up at 01.00 in the morning to go see the Blue fire at mount Ijen... Try to find another home stay, this really is NOT an option!!!

We stayed here for a visit to Ijen. It was terrible!besides that the room was very dirty also the shower was dangerous. While showering there was a huge burst of flame from the thermostat! there are plenty of places to stay for this tour, this hotel is certainly not advisable.

Room has only a dirty bed and an embarrassing smelly bathroom. The dinner has been terrible dinner: it has one choice only. The staff is very rude and unpleasant. Crazy that Lonely Planet still suggests this disgusting location.

We stayed here for just one night, actually a few hours before we went to Ijen. It was awful. The room was really really dirty (and we have seen our fair share of dodgy places the last few years). The sheets had not been cleaned and everything else felt and looked dirty (as in months not cleaned). We stayed here...
