It is said that this is one of the best hotel in Songkhla, however it is pretty average and bordering to poor as a hotel. Breakfast options are very limited and the staff seems slow. I was living on second floor and the room was quite big and clean. I did not find any noise issue as mentioned in some of the previous reviews. Staff generally is not courteous, be it front desk, housekeeping or others (except for a few). I stayed here for 5 nights, overall average.

Generally was O.K room was nice view with SONGKHLA LAKE and center of city. Staff was O.K. Except at Breakfast need to improve both food and service; ask for boiled egg, they ask me to control a time by myself. and no service mind at all. parking was large enough.

I've stayed here twice, the last time in September. It's not for budget travelers but it's worth the price. Rooms, service and pool are excellent, especially for that price. The only thing is that the hotel is quite far from the town center, a good 20-25 minutes walk to the night market and another half hour to Samila Beach. As you can see on the photos, I have my own bicycle, but it wasn't a problem. The staff spoke excellent English and had some ideas where to eat and where to go (which I already knew as I come regularly here). Nevertheless, if you have some money to burn, this is an excellent choice.

After two nights in the Green World Palace for a midweek business trip, it is fair to say this hotel is good value. BUT.......be aware, only a few of the staff speak English. Their English is better than my Thai so I shouldn't complain. I ordered room service one evening and after 10 minutes trying to explain my order on the phone, the guy came to my room for the customary pointing at the menu. Food is ok and super cheap, great value. Three of us had dinner in the restaurant with a few beers and the bill was THB1000. The spa is very good value as well, THB300 for 60 mins. massage. My room was on the second floor Junior Suites. Room was big and clean with separate living area with sofa. My main compliant was the never ending karaoke in the bar downstairs. The bar is empty but the singers kept going. Not so good when you are trying to get to sleep. All in all a good hotel for the money.

Rooms are ok if you get lucky to stay at the second floor. Can be noisy at night and has no gym. Staff does not speak much English and restaurant is OK- with a karaoke show going on every night. Breakfast buffet is goid and has variety of choices from noodles to fruit and omelette station.

I have spent several business related trips staying at this hotel. My most recent experience put the lid on it - I will not be staying again. My room was dirty with what looked like blood spatters on the shower curtain. The bathroom had no mirror. The bathroom door was filthy. Eggs at breakfast were cold. Service in the dining room was disinterested. Food selection was poor. Wireless connection was slow to the point of being unusable. My previous experiences were similar but not quite as bad. I cannot recommend the hotel.

On my driving holidays from Malaysia into Thailand I much prefer to stay in Songkla rather than Hat Yai. Hat Yai is bustling, noisy and the sex trade is much more overt while Songkla is quiet and easier to navigate. I normally stay for one night only so I prefer a downtown hotel, close to the restaurants and away from the main road. Green World met all my criteria. I chose a Junior Suite, which is just a larger room with a sofa set. The room was clean, the bathroom looked like it was newly renovated. The TV was ancient and BBC News was the only English channel. The buffet breakfast was nothing to shout about, although the stall serving freshly cooked noodles was a nice touch. The traditional massage on the first floor was convenient and inexpensive. Overall this hotel is good value for the price.
