We only stayed in Chetumal for one night before crossing into Belize. We arrived in Chetumal on an ADO bus. The taxi from the bus station to the hotel is 20-25 pesos (the driver initially wanted 100 pesos but a local intervened). Check in at the hotel was very easy. We were there on a Sunday and the hotel seemed...

Overall this was a great stay. We only paid about $40 for a nice king size bed. I would stay here again definitely, the only thing is I guess somebody there enjoyed spray me with a fire extinguisher.....

The normal hotel I book for my stay in Chetumal was full so tried new hotel. The hotel was clean and well decorated, centrally located to the downtown retail shops. The front desk staff spoke perfect English and were courteous and very helpful. The restaurant located in a beautiful courtyard had great food and service!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Capital Plaza from December 30th, 2016-January 3rd, 2017. Considering it's on the main Street in the Centro, it was easy to find. We walked up to the receptionist, located in a really nice lobby area. Most of the time there are two receptionists which ensures you're attended to faster. We had booked from probably...

It is very well located, confortable and good prices. I expected more information about the services in the hotel but I never heard or read about it, non of the staff told me about amenities or something. I guess they are under some kind of construction or detailing rooms since I found a dusty room, I walk a few steps...

Very average, worst part is you end up paying more than what is advertised here. Advertised as BZ$82.00 but you end up paying BZ$125.00. Pool is not very inviting, breakfast looks better in pictures than it actually is. Had to call several times for AC servicing.

Rooms are comfortable ,bright and clean the only problem was bird`s poop on all the window.Hotel has a courtyard in a middle with a little bit of jungle going on, which is nice thing in a hot concere town but it shoud be taken into consideration. If you have palm trees and shrubs ,you will have birds.... if you have birds...

Always have stayed at another hotel when in chetumal. This time I figured we would try capital plaza. Big mistake 1st. Hallways are beyond hot. When we got to our room the a/c was cracked and noisy. We would have been fine with that. The kicker for is was that the Internet only worked when you stood in front of...

semi clean, pool did not look too inviting, service mediocre, bad exchange rates, beds not bad, but for a night (as we were running from hurricane Earl) it was sufficient. probably wouldn't stay here again.
