Very comfortable rooms, good service from staff and good food. Open air dining room where you can view the sea in the daytime and see wonderful sunsets in the evening. In the 1940s style of architecture, the rooms, with a second floor elevator are very friendly and comfortable.

We were in the area to do a humanitarian trip. While the hotel is perhaps a bit tired, it was an oasis at the end of the day.The staff were very attentive and the food was generally very good. I very much enjoyed eating Breakfast and Dinner watching the ocean from the restaurant. Rooms were clean and while not 5...

Twelve of us stayed at the hotel whilst we were volunteering with Mission Direct in the area. I can’t fault the staff or the food, to be honest; I have stayed in much worse accommodation. There were other volunteer groups staying at the same time as us so the atmosphere was busy. Rooms were basic but clean, the food was...

Although dated and basic, we found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. The pool is a decent size with plenty of space surrounding it. We only had breakfast there as the hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Plenty of breakfast choice including very good, made to order omelettes etc. Hotel staff are relaxed and pleasant.

The staff can be trusted when leaving anything of importance that you forgot to put away. The food is amazing and will fix whatever you like if they...

We booked this hotel with TUI because it's not a big hotel and not too pricey. Glad we did. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is not luxurious but it was fine. Rooms need some new furniture and the bathroom needs to be redone. The pool is fine but we enjoyed the beach. Very private and not crowded. You have a...

If you avoid crowd and luxury, this human-sized all-incluive resort is just for you. Direct access to a private beach and many day trips are proposed. Puerto Plata airport is nearby, otherwise it takes 4 hours time to cross the country to Santo Domingo.
