I liked Hotel Casablanca very much. It is a colonial style hotel with nice accomodations: No, not as nice as options in Guatemala City or Antigua but remember you are not in these cities. So, the staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms are basic yet nice and comfortable. The restaurant is very good too. Limited menu but...

It was a little confusing to find because of the layout. The rooms and restaurant are in a really nice colonial house with open center patio and beautiful flowers. The rooms can be cold, but it's because of the weather and the thick walls, there are not many chances of getting heating in rural Guatemala. The food was average, nothing...

Nice place in a great, central location. We found the room to be very clean. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. We ate a very good breakfast at the restaurant, also. And they allowed our two small dogs in the room. The secure, on-site parking was also a must for us.

I stayed there for a 3 nights. The service in great. the hotel is 2 blocks from the central park and the price is very cheap.... If you want to stay in a place where you can visit the town(walking), and have a nice meal(or dessert) in its very well preserved garden you are looking to stay in hotel casablanca......

… this hotel has seen it’s best times years ago. I cannot relate to the good comments on this place – or I was just unlucky. The whole place is a little run down, not exactly dirty but not looking really clean either ( and this has nothing to do with the staff not taking care of it, cause I...

My husband & myself are traveling, for 2 1/2 months on our motorcycle, through Mexico & Central America so comfort and budget are important. We looked at several hotels in Huehue (as the locals call the town), and we very pleasantly surprised at what we found at Casa Blanca. First off the staff could not have been more friendly or...

We stayed at Hotel Casablanca for 3 nights in June, and were very satisfied in all ways, except one: loud music from a neighboring night club kept us up longer than we would have liked. However, loud music is hard to avoid in Guatemala, so bring ear plugs! The staff were very courteous and professional, the room clean and comfortable....

After we rejected our provided lodging(Hotel Cuchumatanes) because it was far out of town we chose the Casa Blanca. Without reservations we got a double for $38 on the 3rd floor. The room was small, with a very narrow passage past the bed and dresser to the tiny bathroom(hot water in shower but no hot water spigot in wash basin)....

My reservation was made by a friend for both myself and a friend. When we arrived we were told by the owner there had been a mix up in reservations and he was full up. He made arrangements for us to stay in another hotel just up the street at no extra money. We had a meals in Hotel Cassblanca...
