The cottages are four bedroom houses with shared kitchen and living room. However they are very new, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in the Copper Horse which is a very short walk away.

Yes, living room and kitchen are shared; I booked on a B&B basis and breakfast was provided at the sister hotel (Mayfield) a couple of doors down; the cottage is on the main road through the village, I personally didn't find noise to be an issue but I stayed mid-week and out of season so can't comment on other times of the year; mobile coverage for me was ok on Vodafone; also had wifi which I had to connect to a couple of times but it was sufficient for basic surfing and checking emails. Hope this helps and do enjoy if you go there :)
