This is a very charming, small resort. It may not be quite as smart or flashy as some of it's more expensive competitors but it has much more character. I personally hope that the rooms and grounds aren't updated (contrary to some other reviewers). Individuality is preferable to bland luxury! Beautiful pool, approx 40 metres in length from the two...

Great accomodation in a beautiful setting with excellent yet reasonably priced food served with friendly & efficient service. Hong Island just off the coast is good for snorkelling. A special mention for Bem who was always so happy and content I wish I could have whatever he is on. Also, a mention for our maid who was a treasure (I...

Pros: - Good base camp to discover the Krabi area and islands. - Lovely swimming pool. Cons: - Service could improve significantly in attention to detail, speed and general skills. Training needed. Where is the management? - The food is just average, small portions. I decided to walk down the road to the Sheraton to have a decent meal. The...

Very excellent stayed at the Nakamanda resort. Although there is quite far away from some main town ....Ao nang...Krabi town, but there is more peaceful, good to breath taking and more near the natural. The beach just outside the resort, but because there is near end of beach, so quite much of slippery rocks on the beach when low tide,...

We stayed at the Nakamanda resort for three nights at the beginning of our trip to Thailand, what can I say the resort was amazing so beautiful and romantic, we had the sala villa on a high level which I would definatly recommend, the room itself was lovely and very comfortable. The staff were amazing and so friendly we were...

Lovely experience staying at the Sala Villa. Amazing service and great hospitality. Breath taking view in the early mornings, ie if you get out of bed that early. The facilities at the resort are also very good.

If you're looking for a quiet & peaceful holiday then Nakamanda is the place to stay. It is quite far away from Krabi town & the main tourist beaches, which we liked, but some people may not. The service people we encountered were amazing, especially the pool & restaurant staff, but all the gardeners etc made an effort to smile...

We stayed at the Nakamanda for a couple of days last week and I have to say, I was underwhelmed. Yes the staff were ok (have also had better), but the rooms were small and quite used and outdated, the shower was so fuel of limestone, that hardly any water came out and the food was bland to Thai standards....

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. From the moment we arrived till we left the service was excellent from the staff at the reception down to the towel boy. Everyone was very sincere and attentive. The villas are placed so everyone has a good view but at the same time far away from each other for privacy....

We stayed at this beautiful property in June 12 and we had a relaxing time. On arriving at the Nakamanda, it felt so peaceful, the staff met us on arrival and offered us cold towels and a welcome drink. The food was wonderful (I'm vegetarian and this wasn't a problem for the staff and the kitchen) and was complimented by...
