My boyfriend and I booked a Sala Villa at Nakamanda in January for our stay in August. Having only spoken to the Nakamanda team once (which is during email booking), they have everything sorted for us upon arrival. We were picked up by a nice private car at the airport immediately after touching down and were given towel and water...

Nakamanda Resort is an ideal place to stay especially for couples seeking a quite place away from the tourist area. We were very surprised to see the setting which was just like paradise, with trees and flowers everywhere. As we were on honeymoon, they had decorated our bed with flowers featuring "happy honeymoon" and also treated us with free champagne....

Only steps from the beach, our room was mostly windows and we had a large, netted patio with a comfy padded 4'x5' elevated lounge structure. Huge bathroom with gorgeous gardens outside privacy window. Separate shower, big, deep tub and lots of amenities...aloe gel, bug lotion, beach bag, robes, sandals. Low tide at Nakamanda was the most dramatic of my life....

Great hotel in a quiet area. Staff were very good and attentive. Food was very good and top quality. Pool and restaurant located on the beach front. The pictures don't do this place justice!! The only minor drawback is that the resort has a lot of steps which could be a challenge for young kids.

I never did find out what nakamanda meant in thai, but in my mind it stands for perfect place. Having stayed in a few villas around Thailand over the years, nakamanda was a standout. We booked the 2 bedroom private pool villa for 3 of us and it was amazing. A 10 meter pool, jacuzzi and simple but beautiful bathrooms....

Our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) just ended a 9 night stay at Nakamanda, and were sad to say goodbye this morning. The hotel experience was just amazing, we just loved the boutique style of the resort as well as the facilities including the restaurant, breakfast, pool area and free kayaks. The hotel location is perfect for...

We stayed at Nakamanda for 9 nights in July, we spent the first 2 nights in a standard Sala Villa then 7 nights in the Sala Villa with Hydropool. The welcome was efficient and delightful, we had the hotel pick us up with drinks and cool towels and check in was simple. We got lucky that our room was ready...

having stayed there with my wife and adult son in low season ( end of July 2013) we can only be positive. Both our villa's were great and gave us a nice atmosphere. Service and friendlyness on the highest level. We felt at home. Food is excellent and the prices very reasonable. You really do not need to go out...
