Have been going to HRPC for about 10 years now. Was a little skeptical after seeing all the reviews and posts. There were some minor issues with slower service, running out of items and longer lines. My 15 year old daughter was disappointed that they didn’t have popcorn in the theater anymore, that the moon lounge lacked seating and the night life wasn’t as fun as it used to be! Although she did do the silent disco and found it to be way more fun than she initially thought. However, that all being said once we sat down to eat, our meals were fantastic. We can’t say enough about Rafael the manager and Santos at the member pool, they went above and beyond for us. Both of them always took the time to ask us how our day was going and addressed any issues that came up. Jose, our waiter at the pool was always around to bring drinks to us. Our daughters both loved Nixon who they met last year and did yoga and corn hole with him. His upbeat and friendly personality kept them entertained and busy for hours. We were so impressed with his work ethic and the fact that his English has dramatically improved in just one year. He is a great asset to have and the younger crowd (teens) seem to need that extra entertainment that he brings to the resort. Our Butler David Perez, Who has become part of our family over the years and who we love dearly planned a private lunch for us. Rafael and Santos served an amazing meal with the the chef. (prompts to the chef for sure!) We also had a member dinner at Toro with the chef and the steak was so delicious and tender. The service was fantastic and my older daughter loved the shrimp ceviche. Butler David and his partner Elvido were always available to us to reserve seats at the theater, pool chairs and get us a golf cart. They helped us secure a room with a better view that was close to our daughters and always took the time to come and talk to us. There are so many small things they do for us that really make our trip so much easier! When leaving we had the most gracious, kind porter/bell hop Ramone who brought our suitcases down and stayed with our daughters while we were dealing with the final paperwork. Overall we had a fantastic trip with some minor bumps that we hope they smooth out once they hire more staff and Covid isn’t an issue anymore.…
The Hard Rock In Punta Cana is by far our favorite vacation destination. This facility is spotless, beautiful and a true non-stop ride...I need a vacation from my vacation. The list of the to-do's is a mile long and everyone is exceptionally nice and engaging. My diet was wrecked from all of the delicious foods and the variety of restaurants. This is the true WOW factor. You can't walk 50 feet without some type of food offerings, even at the pool, shopping mall or even outside the casino. We can't wait to go back at Christmas for another visit.
Beautiful resort, friendly staff, lovely rooms and good food. I have been to Hard Rock Punta Cana before and things have changed in terms all-inclusive amenities. There were many amenities that were "for cost", meaning not included in the all inclusive pricing. Bowling, wine tasting, lobster, tomahawk steak, golf cart rentals and other entertainment activities. I feel like most, if not all of these "extras" should have been offered to all of the guests as part of their lodging package. Perhaps things have changed drastically due to COVID. This was my first vacation since the pandemic. I was not prepared to pay for what I considered to be included in my resort costs. I felt that the resort tram service that was offered was dialed back to encourage guests to rent a private golf cart at cost. There were long wait times for the included resort trams. The property is massive and the number of available trams did not align with the number of guests in my opinion. Pedro in Toro room service was amazing and Daniel in ground transportation was outstanding. I was not disappointed at all with the staff. They had dynamite attitudes and were extremely personable. I thought the food could have been better especially in the main dining buffet. Lines were long and they were constantly running out of items. The quality of the food was not consistent. Overall my experience was pleasant but I would recommend that the Hard Rock parallel the amenities with the cost of the stay.…
Our first visit to Dominican Republic and honestly we were a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews. Upon arrival we were greeted by smiley staff who were friendly and attentive. There was an issue with our room which was no fault of the hotels but due to a misunderstanding when we booked. We had a delicious rum punch whilst we waited and met our helper Cesmary who was super friendly again. Our room was beautiful and spacious, the bed was really comfortable and the tub on the balcony was amazing! We loved our room. The hotel is HUGE which was a little frustrating when trying to work out where everything is. We tried the buggies but found it took 10x longer to get to where we wanted to go as they had to make multiple stops. Not their fault as they had to supply a service for a lot of people. Whenever we asked at reception however the drivers were more than happy to take us to our room. We had a real issue with the food and not being able to eat in the restaurants. For a 5 star hotel we ate cold buffet food for 5 out of the 7 nights which is unacceptable. We ate at Zen which was great fun and the pizza in the Market was always good and fresh. Aside from that the food really wasn’t great. I enjoyed only a couple of meals. One breakfast I waited 25 mins for a coffee or for a server to even look at me. When it hit the weekend the hotel was just unbearably busy and there were queues for EVERYTHING which is not what you want on holiday. There is no way that you can give this hotel 1 star. It is huge yes, but the staff are all extremely hard working and rushed off their feet most of the time but some still deliver service with a smile. The casino was a plus for us the bar tenders were fab and super fun. There were a few things that we were a bit miffed about like all the ‘activities’ you have to pay for?? Why provide golf and bowling if it is an extra charge. Also all the bars at the different pools offered different drinks. We loved the Bongo pool but we couldn’t get any cocktails so we usually had to go to the noisy main pool to get drinks. We eventually found the Sax pool which we loved and stayed at the rest of our trip. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in its current state but maybe once the renovation is finished as had we known there were works going on we probably would’ve delayed our stay until the works were finished. We did enjoy our stay and were really happy with how friendly most people were but we wouldn’t come back to DR simply because there wasn’t enough for us to do and we wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.…
We were a family of 4 (parents and 2 teens), and each of loved the Hard Rock Hotel! There are endless opportunities for everyone around the resort. We played golf and loved the course. We enjoyed different pools, and each of them offers a different vibe. We loved how the buildings are designed: not too high, and with water and gardens all around, one cannot realize it is actually a huge resort. Our bedroom was very comfortable, and the bathtub on the balcony is a great plus. Food was ok, but the hotel could offer more fine cuisine options... Finally, the staff is extremely nice and really makes your stay unforgettable. We will definitely come back!
This hotel has enough to keep you interested and entertained with the pool options that include different types of music, volleyball in the pool or at the beach, casino, silent disco party, Karaoke, and themed parties in in hotel. The food I recommend is at Zen where you must do a reservation and the food is shrimp/chicken/steak, fried rice, sushi, and fried ice cream for dessert (food is served hibachi style to be prepared to sit in front of a hibachi chef !!! So cool. I recommend breakfast at la Isla. And give the Market food inly 3 stars for their food but their service is 5 star! The people are super social humble engaging and fun. PLEASE bring your children to the water rubbing section. They will LOVE IT! For hours 12-7
I have been to this resort 6 times with my family but this will be my last. The new management has destroyed everything this powerhouse used to be. No one is even paying attention to the fact you are a repeat customer. The service is no longer there. Not by the pools or the bars or anywhere! The food is just awful. They used to have a menu at the sax and bongo but no longer an option. If you’re vegetarian, celiac or just want to eat healthy, good luck! Your options are very limited now. It’s 2022 they need to get up to date. By the pools they didn’t have a vegetarian pizza once in 7 days and they won’t make a burger without the patty. Your choice is nachos. You need to go inside to a resto wait in line and eat. They won’t let you take your food to go either. No reservations for the restos anymore so you will wait for hours. Be there super super early!! People were getting very upset. We waited an hour and then we’re told it was full and to go somewhere else. Gallos and the 24 pizza place is closed for Reno’s. Isla and ipanema are now buffets for dinner.. you’re left with toro and ciao and zen and the Mediterranean place.. plus the market which is also buffet. Must didn’t have one vegetarian sandwich either in 7 days.. They took away everything that made this resort special. Upper shelf alcohol gone too. Couldn’t even find Tito’s . The ciroq and fleur de Cana is extra for some reason. they don’t let you have it even if your vip. Meanwhile the bottles aren’t even open. You will have to get up to get your own drink so get ready to line up every single time. This place is so strangely understaffed it’s ridiculous. You have 5 workers in the arcade doing nothing but not one waiter or waitress at the zen bar? A million sales people hunting you down for legendary but 1 bartender at eclipse or the bowling bar at 9pm every night? The line up was up to 30 people at times.. makes no sense. It seems like it’s done intentionally to control the amount of alcohol given out. Everything is filthy and not cleaned properly. It’s really disgusting. Don’t see anyone sanitizing anything. Legendary pitch. Do yourself a favor. Walk away. I was made all these promises and when I didn’t sign up all that changed. And “coincidentally” our phones were hacked 1 hour after I declined and left the sales pitch. It’s a lifetime commitment!! your beneficiary will have a lifetime commitment after you pass or trs it over. Take a minute and do the math. Entertainment-it’s just a different vibe now… just feels like so much has been taken away.. arcade is now a charge. $ 20usd for 20 tokens. My son was out of tokens in less than 30 mins. Spa. Took away the free access to the circuit. Massages start at 230$ usd = $296 cdn for 50 mins. check in and check out slow.. even when there is no line up.. Beach is stunning but they seem to have removed a lot of the palapas pushing you to get a day bed which is like $100 a day.. reminder they charge for mini golf, laser tag and for bowling. I’m shocked at how much this place has changed since I was last there in 2019 before Covid. Not going back there again. I couldn’t wait to leave. Special thanks to Gianniny, Brenda, chef cugliani and the chef at zen for the extra effort.…
Hard Rock Punta Cana- Very good resort, great customer service from Jesus, Julio, Gabino by poo concierge Area Great variety of food and very fun activities throughout the whole resort. Definitely this place is recommended
Family vacations was amazing, we stayed at Hard Rock punta cana for 14 days 🤗🤗 with teens Personal at the pool concierge it’s very kindly and take care of all the members. Thank you soo much to pool concierge department by Gabino!!!!! Pablo at the beach and Davidson Was amazing
Good stay for family and friends. If you like a Japanese food “Zen” restaurant is mandatory in your stay at Hard Rock. The hotel is really huge with so many pools and different activities. Some specific services were below the expectations but in general I would recommend this hotel.
